The former last man is now the fastest with a Fazer600.

i just spoke to a sweet voice over AIG's service line cos wanted to know how far exactly is our bike covered; too lazy to read the fine prints in policy document lah. in a nutshell, AIG covers my bike in:

+ Singapore

+ West Malaysia

+ Southern Thailand but within 50 miles from M'sian border

 

heard that some insurers cover 50 km instead of 50 miles (approx 80.4 km), e.g. NTUC.

with 50 miles, most of Hatyai city (60+ km from Sadao immigration) and whole Betong (

regardless, still advisable to buy a Thai insurance at least to cover 3rd party liabilities when there.

 

Just upgrade from 3rd Party Fire & Theft (aka 2nd Party) to 1st Party Comprehensive.

 

3rd Party F & T = $338 (with 20% NCD) *$422 without NCD

1st Party = $586 (with 20% NCD) *$732 without NCD

I topped up the difference.

 

Excess is $500.

Bike Lost excess is $1000.

Additional loading in premium after claim is for 1 year only.

Loading will be according to claim, i.e. more than $4k = 1.75x, otherwise should be about 1.5x.

turnout of yesterday's meetup was quite... errr... the usual 4 amigos + zesture. star of the night is of course the very much molested new SWT4

seems pp still prefer rail mall or KKFC which are more conveniently located. we had to settle for soft drinks n kopi-c at LHFC as bean or bucks coffee aren't there.
