Probably will go K & T for the Raizin but price abt $160 with grounding.

I think I should just stick to tried and tested (on my previous SW).

Good or not...?

When are you going...?

Good or not...?

i've used both Reizin (blue one) and PA2... both have some improvements.

dunno about the more costly PA auto and Reizin mega, but they are more for cars... is it worth paying the extra?

PA2 is distributed by Equipment Extreme but heard from SW9000 that replenishment stock at showroom (extended warranty) hasn't arrived yet.

it is also available through resellers/installers (standard warranty).

Pivot Raizin VS is even more widely available... Autobacs, car stereo shops, car assessories shops, motortiams, etc, even online.

Unique Motorsports has a package for VS+grounding

installation of the PA2 or VS is very straight forward... simply connect in parallel to batt, just make sure polarity (+/-) is correct (PA2 claimed to be uni-directional though). small thing to ponder is where you wanna put the "magic box" after connecting. i have mine hidded inside the left rear side cover so it is swee swee out of sight and won't take up cabin space. but with grounding, why not pay a little and let the experts get their hands dirty :p

Very tempting to install man the PA2 plus grounding.

Some say it is not effective because of SWING small cc ( cannot disclose the person )

he/she add on saying 2 cylinder bike not much effect also

he/she add on saying 2 cylinder bike not much effect also

i wonder what kind of effect he/she is expecting from a $100+ box whose main components are capacitors linked by some circuit board; take the marketing talk with a big pinch of salt and we'ld be somewhere there.

maybe he/she is right... but some improvement is better than none

basically, the effect i got out of adding the PA2 & grounding are slightly better response (less laggy and even better if iridium sparkies are used) and silkier engine, that's about it. imo, they help by reducing inefficiencies in the stock setup, they won't deliver another few horses.

theoretically, the capacitors act as an additional "battery" that is connected in parallel and discharge current momentarily to cover the "trough" zones under stock setup. remember that a bike's DC current from its magneto is obtained only after the rectifier filter out one side of the original AC current. i.e. output becomes +1,0,+1,0,+1,0,... instead of +1,-1,+1,-1,+1,-1,... etc. the capacitors are intended to cover the 0 zones, at least in theory.

similarly, the idea of using a 2nd batt instead of capacitors has been considered.

has anyone thought of putting another batt of same spec. in parallel to the current?

with a more consistent current supply to the ignition system, the combustion cycles becomes more consistent (reducing vibrations) and more efficient as poor combustions due to otherwise weaker current (during the 0 zones) are reduced. this again is theory (纸上谈兵)

subnote:

there were many heated discussions about the use of capacitor based products in the forum and discussions become arguments with conflicts of interests mixing in. a commonly raised question was, "if adding a smallish capacitor box does help performance, why didn't the manufacturers put it in from the beginning?" well, its up to individuals to believe or reject

You can skip Gadek cos the place is miserably small and looks like a out door bath tub rather than hotspring.

OLD NO GO, NEW NO COME.

SW9000,

Further up North from Ayer Keroh towards Seremban is the Pedas Wet World & Hotspring. Got water slides, playgrounds, makan stalls and a super 'hot' hotsping.

Coming back south towards Yong Peng is the Labis Hotspring (55km from Yong Peng). Purely hotspring with different pools for 'hotness'. Warmed or cooked ping pong you choose.
