I am using Gold Fren for both front and rear brakes.

 

It cost about 20-30 bucks for one set. The original brake shoe cost double the price.:cry:

 

I'm using EBC brake pads, abt same price as gold fren. But power not so good, still prefer stock brake pads.

Guys, need all your 2 cents worth. Roughly how much can i fetch with my 4 yrs old silverwing ? Thinking of upgrading already..

My rear Gold Fren (sm) pads lasted me abt 12k km. Is that normal? Got any brands good and last a bit longer?

Spend a bit, get the original brake shoes. I consider it is better quality

No difference except colour range bah.

registered in 2008 may not necessary be 2007 or 2008 models... my 2008 registered scooby is 2006 model.

 

anyhow, 2006, 2007 & 2008 models are like what SW9000 mentioned, differs only in color schemes... except if yours is a JDM

. FJS Euro before 2009 and 2009 models are the same except that the later has some parts of its paintwork in matt black instead of glossy.

 

I didn't know this...which parts are matt black?

 

Another question is why the new model sometimes display "Silver Wing GT", then sometimes display "SW-T400" on the body. Is there a difference?

First impression: Pretty good as compared to stock.. Thx HelmetBox..

if not wrong... GT & T are the same, just called differently at different place nia

GT = Japan

SW-T = Euro
