I didn't know this...which parts are matt black?

Another question is why the new model sometimes display "Silver Wing GT", then sometimes display "SW-T400" on the body. Is there a difference?

Silver Wing GT is Japam Version.. SW-T400 Euro Version....

Sliver Wing GT Blinker light cover is Orange...

SW-T400 BLinker light is transparent..

that's the different...

2007 - 2008 Honda Phatom 200

2008 - 2010 SYM GTS 200

2010 - ???? Honda Silverwing SW-T400

I think SW9000 is a SWT-400 if I remember correctly

SW-T = Euro = mine

GT = Jap = with Booster switch = currently only the 600 parallel imported by Mah.

Just tried my new 12v socket... it works! My electric air pump is now back in the trunk. hehe.

** Eh... new SW-T no come with this socket.

Also to note for new SW-T:

1. Rectifier is now at left side rear panel. Easier to reach.

2. There are groundings done from most electricals and centralised to a point just behind the left side passenger foot peg.

Also got grounding between this point to the engine. Cool.

just finished the painful process of converting the colors of my posts in the tech thread... the color schemes of this webby still needs to improve, e.g. url links and words with hyperlinks are of same color as normal words (only change color when you place cursor over them), they should be of different color altogether so that readers could know a link is there; how many pp read with their cursors moving along with the sentences?

Wah you always carry so many things to move around... I always save all the space for shopping.

While washing my bike yesterday morning, I manage to peep and saw a one grounding cable from the engine block but I didn't manage to see where it is connected to.

booster = "overdrive" ... sometimes called "sports" mode in cars

. JDM has the "overdrive" switch on left throttle control but Euros don't; it enables the JDM bike to have more power when overtaking but burns a lot more fuel

you may wanna check with B*** Pro*******, i think their prices are among the best in town but be warned of their "special" service attitude. also remember to work out the total cost of buying the bike coz their pricing model starts from a very attractive OTR base price + +; e.g. their OTR price does not include IU so gotta add IU/installation $$, upgrade insurance to 2nd party (comprehensive is highly recommended) top up $$, admin fees for loan add $$, not taking loan add $$, etc.

btw, this shop does not give freebies... they call themselves "no frills" o_O

happy shopping

GT vs. SW-T... no one really know now coz they're too new... no data for comparison.

but JDM vs FJS aka Euro... most SWingers prefer Euro due to much better FC :p

I prefer GT than SW-T400.. becoz of the word silver wing at the bike look more cool and ppl will know that's silver wing bike.. If Sw-t400 dun look cool.. Lol :)

both also have chrome insignias "Silver Wing" at the rear side covers.

corrected info:

GT's insignia is "Silver Wing GT"

SW-T400's insignia is "SW-T400"

confirmed with BS that they bring in only SW-T400

looks wise, they only also differ at the blinker light covers... according to kmkoon (see below)

Sliver Wing GT Blinker light cover is Orange...

SW-T400 BLinker light is transparent..

that's the different...

I think the new Euro SW-T400 don't have "Silver Wing" at the rear side covers. In the pics below, can see from the blur wordings.

We need SW9000 to confirm this...

is $15800 OTR excluding insurance good?

yet another version of OTR?

OTR basically means all costs inclusive to legally own and legally ride the bike on Singapore roads in roadworthy conditions... without insurance is technically no more OTR cos that'll be illegal (no insurance also no road tax) o_O

meaningful comparisons should use full costs of each deals from the different shops... check this post out
