OMG!!! the shop drilled holes on your new bike just to save on the bracket?

in fact, just a piece of metal plate (attach to botton of IU), a used roller (or spacer) and a long screw will do. i hope the mechanics got your permission before doing it.

 

 

mechs cannot sooka sooka drill holes on customers bike without permission from owner, even if its new purchase. if its me, i will go to shop boss and KPKB, then ask them to change the centre piece (costs >$60 if we buy ourselves) back to normal.

 

Really?? I didn't notices.. Thanks.. But they fix the iu at center is ok for me.. Rather then they fix at the brake lever left or right.. Actually I wanted to fix behind the windshield but they say the PVC will brake due to vibration... So no choice lo.. But it's ok la quite nice la they fix.. As long as nv block my meter view can already.. easy for me to take out and put in cash card and also can see whether got detect erp or not

no worries bro... as long as you happy and dun kenna summon for no signal can liow

 

everyone has our own preferences mah... some put on handlebar, some at centre between handlebar, some inside right glove compartment, some lock inside left glove compartment, some use removable IU (powered by 12V cigarette plug), someone even considered putting inside underseat (but got detection problem at carpark) etc etc. all kinds of pattern also chut ka liow

depends on wat purpose u wana use it for. for me, using for daily riding, i dun like the hard knuckle type but need something durable and so i got dis mechanix glove from industrial safety company.

not many ppl trust my type of glove as there is no hard part on dis glove. as fusionjazz mentioned, u can try out some diff gloves at LAB. they have quite a few range at affordable price, unless u willing to pay for more.

I like some of the komine gloves from Motoworld. I usually go for these particular gloves/series that have a padding at the bottom of the palm. Make it really comfortable for distance riding. But they cost 80 and up.

bro, its better to go down to a few places and try out the gloves which is in your budget range. each rider has their own preference. u may be able to find a cheaper glove at LAB but it may not suit u well.

Best way to find out is to visit them. I think the proper question you should ask is "which are the shops that sell riding gloves"

I got myself a pair of clover soft gloves comes with padding at the palm part.

very comfortable as there's small tiny vents on top of the fingers.

Only downside, cost me around 70.
