Having just changed the rollers and belt, i have definitely have renewed riding experience on the Tmax. The bike of course with new belt, runs stronger and feels good.

 

Just an experience, the factory recommended 12000 miles is good to change. For me going all the way to 16050 miles, the bike feels slow and boring, in fact quite sluggish. So for others out there, if you do not want to have a small let down on power, change at 12K is strongly recommended.

 

But for me who does not run too fast or have a snappy wrist, i might still let my bike go for another 16K before i change my belt n rollers again. You can call me cheapskate or calculative, cos for every actual 4 belt changes, i actually save on 1 ( and that's $300 ). Ouch!

 

I changed mine at 12K and the belt still looks rather brand new. Will let this 2nd one run for 16k to maybe 20k before changing.

every bike has got its own unique serial no am i right? maybe what hl is trying to say is that japan tmax is made in japan and our sg tmax probably comes from thailand! idiots! lets go to hl and protest! lol

Got two screens for sale. Both as good as new.

 

This one came from my old 2006 BlackMax I sold a few years back but always kept the screen. Asking S$75.

gd morning all, just came back from genting, tmax cornering was really gd, but the top speed on NSH was sad, dunno y full trottle only 170km, maybe need to wash air filter liao :)

 

our Tmax top speed is ard that range. I only managed 175km/h with akra and bmc filter. the rest r all stock.

Just change the following in Mar 2011 ....

New OEM Batt

NewOEM Air filter

New OEM V Belt

New OEM rollers

Road Tax till Mar 2012

 

Bike is stock and fully paid up.

Yeah to all bro out there if you are travelling on pie towards changi airport near bedok resevior exit you will notice a singboard on top there is a camera that one will take for speed also and hear from mine friend that traffic marshal from lta also can catch speeding also so ride safe and be careful.

Those using kpe please observe your speed limit. Haha. Tio snap last night so decided to go rounding in kpe. Total there is 6 camera. 3 on each side!
