i just underlined or bold the answer to your question.. if you are referring to speed displayed on the speedo, definitely will have some discrepencies, say about 10km/h+-..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

car will go faster in same speed cus car speedo is more accurate

2b bike speedo not accurate one so if u go like 100km/hr on 2b maybe is around 70-80 nia

Yes.

There will be a difference due to the accuracy error in 2B bikes' speedometer.

For example, a 2B bike's speedometer at 100km/hr might only be 90km/hr on a car.

But not all 2b bikes have the inaccuracy.

My friend's X8 speedometer was quite accurate.

To confirm your speed, you can use a GPS device.

Slow down abit, smell the air and enjoy the scenery.

my friend sae his different for phantom is around 18km possible? cause mine near to that also leh

Depend on what you ride. Never rode a 2b 4 stroker before so can't comment. I would say my kr could pace and smoke most of the cars 1.6L and below.

so can u i confirm myself n tell them in face i m rite? haha

Oh, you meant the meter differences.. then yes. Most 2b bikes travelling at 100/110km would only register at ard 90km/h on a car's speedo's.

difference for phantom when the phantom speedo is more than 90km/h is about 12km/h.. difference is not the same when travelling at different speeds.. eg, phantom 30km/h, car is very slightly less than 30 or at 30kmph.. car speedo is definitely not at 18km/h..

hmm so to be exact is speed meter cannot be trusted or realli is car faster ?

or actually same speed i think too much haha

cause they sae if bike nt zhun den y bother to put the speedometer if the meter nt accury

All this has gotta do with maintenance. If you never calibrate your speedometer, then of course it's not going to be accurate.

every 1 sae his rules hahah, i realli blur sia i know 2b got different wif car confirm but dunno how to explain , cause my friend mention too sae if not 20km same as car den y put 20km

its juz like sp.. when travelling at 140km/h or 160km/h might only be 120+ or 140 on the bigger bikes speedo...

the error reading goes bigger n bigger..

maybe per 10km/h, minus 2km/h or 1.5..

so 100km/h may only be 88-90km/h?

something lidat

Suck it n ride!

but if bike and car speedo are accurate...

a lambo at 80km/h will be the same speed as a vespa at 80km/h

:D :D :D

just like 1 kg of iron is same weight as 1 kg of cotton wool....

right??

:D :D :D

i believe the error is due to the 2b bikes uses speedo cable to measure the front wheel. thus, not so accurate. whereas those bigger bikes that uses sensor will get a more accurate reading. most accurate would be a gps.

Gosh I don't believe this kind of argurments still exist. Speed is a factor of distance divided by time. 80km/h on a Hayabusa is the same as 80km/h on a Wave. What you see on the speedo is merely INDICATED speed.

That being said, no 2 speedos will display the same INDICATED speed at the same constant speed (say 90km/h). You can try by mounting a GPS on 2 vehicles and both travel at 90km/h according to the GPS, and then observe the INDICATED speed on each vehicle's speedo.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

For motorcycles, you need to "calibrate" by changing/modifying original equipment such as the hairspring and the magnets. Best left to someone more familiar with the equipment.

It would help, if you use stock tires for your bike, if your speedo has not been modified in any way.

i know what you mean

coz on some roads there are like auto detectors showing you your present speed

e.g. turn out to Yishun on CTE

speed limit there is 50k's but 50k on my speedo is showing 58k's on the auto detector...
