car will go faster in same speed cus car speedo is more accurate

2b bike speedo not accurate one so if u go like 100km/hr on 2b maybe is around 70-80 nia

Yes.

There will be a difference due to the accuracy error in 2B bikes' speedometer.

For example, a 2B bike's speedometer at 100km/hr might only be 90km/hr on a car.

But not all 2b bikes have the inaccuracy.

My friend's X8 speedometer was quite accurate.

To confirm your speed, you can use a GPS device.

juZ install a digital meter on ur bike and u'll know the difference haha

go get a gps, and see the speed difference. you will be amazed

i believe the error is due to the 2b bikes uses speedo cable to measure the front wheel. thus, not so accurate. whereas those bigger bikes that uses sensor will get a more accurate reading. most accurate would be a gps.

hello guys...

today i tested my vara125 speedo against gps speedo..

the gps speedo is 2-3km/h less than the vara125 speedo even at 100km/h

does that mean my vara speedo is quite accurate?

my speedo is not digital.

hmmz, never knew the speedo is that inaccurate.

Could it be due to air resistance also? coz air resistance shd be more negligible for cars (>1000kg) compared to bikes, smaller bikes especially.

If so, then 2B sports bike shd be slightly more accurate than 2B kup/ cruiser (more drag from body).

You guys may wanna read up on this

Very informative.

If your bike is an EFI, there is a chance to correct the error. Use Speedohealer. This will not eliminate the speedo error, but will definitely lower the speedo error gap. Example, last time off by 20km/h, so now off by 2km/h.

use GPS and test. error might be reduced to the minimum

i am sorry to say, but i think u might need to go back to school to revise your physics.... o_O.

air resistance on individual vehicle does not have any relationship on the accuracy of speedometer.

I might suggest it's the way how the speedo, cable and drive mechanism is made that makes such a difference.

Eg. more expensive bigger bikes to have better build than cheap small kups. That said, I would be very annoyed if i were to know if my 1000cc bike has 20kmh error and quite fine with it if it's my 125cc kup.

I would suggest this is the most logical and realistic rationale behind the error between big and small bikes.

i was riding my X1 beside a new honda civic, digital speedo so i could look in and see. haha, i was at top speed and the civic was at 110km/h only. damn funny, the lady driving thought i was checking her out or something. its a 20km/h error in reading. Its normal..
