orh okie thanks alot, as the sound recently den i start to notice about it.

 

That will be the ventilated disc sound when braking. My friend use to say electric sound.

It's totally normal due to the holes making the whiz zing noise when the disc is spinning fast while braking.

U riding the 400 now right? Understand you just came back from your trip do you mind sharing your experience/review with the scoot so far? Does the engine produce more noise than new after travelling for quite some distance?

I didn't ride the Xciting 400 for this trip. But I had brought this scooter up to Batu Pahat for a day ride, riding constant at 110 - 120 km/h with pillion don't give me trouble. Only problem I faced is constant wind turbulence due to having a pillion. When I ride alone I don't have the wind turbulence problem. I don't know about more noise cos I wear ear plugs together with a full face helmet, so the only sound I hear is wind noise.

 

During the trip we had a Downtown 300i able to keep up with us at 140 km/h thus I think any bikes can make it, just the rider's mentality not able to make it.

Sorry I'm actually referring to engine sound during idling cos I can't stand the sound of mine during idling now. As in when I bought the scoot new the idling sound is acceptable/normal for a single cylinder engine....but now....haiz....
