I'm pretty sure MotorSports will bring in the XCT 300i and Xciting 400i soon, for homologous testing as well.

 

The Grand Dink 300i is already in. So what's stopping them? Haha!

 

I kinda want the footrest now, which the DT don't quite have. Haha. I see it as a comfy feature now.

I heard the K-XCT aka Xciting 300i is small. I think like GDink300i.

I heard also the GDink 300i will be the same price as Downtown 300.

When I saw the box I was like hmmmmmm who would change from a 40 to 45 box like you. Then I saw 125 then the colour then the wheel, so confirm must be you ha ha ha.

That's very long. Not sure how much does it cost without insurance and COE. I went down to Kymco at Mahperson a few days ago. Now around 10.6k on the road for my age. I think xciting 400 should be another 2k more. But not sure what is the capacity of the fuel tank and fuel consumption.

How's the Downtown to you? It's an excellent commuter, with ample storage and pick-up.

How's the vibration? What vibration?

*Over taking? No problem

*Top speed? 139km/h (captured with GPS, still in my unit for show)

Cruising speed? comfortable at 100-110km/h

*Fuel consumption? best at 36km/l, average 31km/l.

Distance traveled? GP esso back to GP esso, 1853km, went to hatyai

Buy a lot of things? Bought a retro helmet and others, I carry tools for my group so can't bulk too much. I didn't attach saddle bags for the trip, else no problem buying more goodies.

Your fuel consumption is great considered mine average is only 25km/l city and some expressway.

Yours should be the same batch as mine FBF 5**** series. How come mine so heavy consumption?

What engine oil you use? Yours should be in the 5000km range now I guess.

Topgearalwaysrock - have you gotten your iPhone holder for your scooter. I am at millenia walk looking. Range about $89 expensive no? Mine iPhone 3 cannot use. All for iphone4

I bought the scooter in September, currently using maxima 15W50 engine oil. Will have better FC with 10W40 oil. I experienced loud and rough engine, when using motul 10w40, same grade, maybe some brand's additive and properties not suitable. Current odometer reading at 8600+ km.

Still shopping around. I'm not sure whether I wanna buy or custom make DIY.

Whether or not I need it is another thing altogether. I just thought it'll be cool to use my phone's GPS. But I hardly travel around, and for those places which I'm not too sure, I'll check it out on the map first. Haha.

 

In any case, I'm trying to not depend on GPS too much. Or else, it'll make me get hooked, and my skill of getting around by myself, and finding a way out will diminish.
