Hmm.

I believe direct flights to LAX will have a little fewer people? Means chances of getting the whole bench is higher? Haha!

I'll seriously consider SIA then if that's the case. =)

For Cathay Pacific, gotta change plane.

Each time when the DT is parked next to the S4, the DT dwarfs the S4 sia. Haha.

Same for Phantom 200 too. It does feel a bit show-offey.... =(

To be fair, the exact OMV for DT125i is $2826, so after factoring in the taxes and installations, the price without COE and profits is $2826 X 1.27 X 1.07 + $50 +$150 + $140 = $4180.

Profits: $9400-$2000-$4180 = $3220. Not too bad. But bearing in mind, this is an outright depreciation. Haha!

If bigger bikes r not suitable for daily ride then other bike like a fjr will never work out in our kind of road right? But I am just curious what r the kind of maintainence needed for regular maintainence and r the parts for maxi scooter or to be more specific myroad 700i very costly? Eg: those part that spoils easily very costly to replace? Maybe te ppl here who rode it can share with me?

I can only answer your first part.

My dad's previous bike was an FJR1300. He finds it too powerful for local roads already, and it's a bit wasted just to ride locally. So he's traded for a Kawasaki ER-6F.

As for the MyRoad 700i parts, CVT Belt, you'll probably be looking at $240? The rest is like air-filter, oil-filter, etc are normal prices lah. Haha.

Parts don't usually spoil [except for wear and tear]. They will last long when taken care of properly. I know, Kymco may sound like a cheapo brand, or it's all looks but no reliability and no substance, but that's not the case. Haha!

i am suggesting to you what i feel after riding it. No need to look deep into my sentence. Join date doesnt mean i am a newbie who know none about class 2 bikes. My last ride was kawasaki concours 1400cc. I am still able to push the bike and reverse the bike around as the weight distribution is even. Myroad is very heavy at the front and rear. Its virtually impossible to sit on the bike and use both legs to push it forward. Even getting down to push it is an issue as the rear is lugging the weight back. No point telling you all the good points and let you go purchase it. As riders, we shared the bad and good points of a bike. No bike is perfect.

Myroad has just been released recently. How to answer you about its maintenance?

What's the fuel consumption of the GTR Concours 14?

That bike also very fierce sia. Haha. I have to tip toe, seated on the bike.

Why you change your GTR to MyRoad again?

Full tank can go around 350km. GTR no much storage place. In Singapore, i dont use the panniers much and i dont have top box on it. Myroad has enough power for me to tour. Enough storage that i dont have to mod and put panniers. My GTR has corbin seat. I am able to flat footed on it.

No I am just thinking about what u said then use a bigger bike as an example to analyze and Qsn it... Hmmm... When u say myroad has enough power for touring u r talking about comfortable speed or comfortable pickup? I sure like the storage the bike offers man!

I'll leave Doremi to answer the first part. As for the storage, yeah. That was what drew me to the DownTown 125i!

Sure, the MyRoad 700i being halve the engine size, and the fact that it's a maxi-touring-scooter, won't be as fun to ride as the GTR1400. But for what it is, you'll probably be amazed rather than disappointed in the way it ride and handles!

Mine is the only 10liters @ 250km

So 25km/l

Even shunoski later batch then mind get 31km/l to 36km/l

My skipper 150cc already hurt my wallet for 9 years at 21km/l.

Honda PCX very good at 43km/l I think.

That belongs to Doremi.

How can I trade in when the DT is my first bike? Haha!

Congrats on your new buy. Hopefully, when the Xciting 400i comes out, the boring comes out as well. Then you can bore your engine up to 400cc.

i checked with the boss... there is no boring kit..not now not later... apparently the mechs where shooting blanks... i did trade in any bike... i actually stopped riding for abt 6yrs.. thn recently i bought a rxz but that wasnt an optimistic point of my riding life lol... so i sold that and bought this... i paid 11700 plus minus abit.. with iu and what not.. better then the prev. 12.4k la... i hope this bike will not disappoint me... too bad i couldnt wait for the 400cc... but this looks better thn the kct300i?? the next 300cc one la... so i jumped gun and got this... on the bright side i am paying 150cc taxes and honda technology... be prepared to pay more the the est for the 400cc...

What you mean pay 150cc taxes?

Well, the boring so far only for the DT125i from 124cc to 199cc I think. haha.

And yes, the Xciting 300i looks better than the XCT 300i. Haha.

As for the price, it included $500 insurance too right?

Not too bad a price, considering the DT125i costs $8700-$8900 now.
