Changed front brake disc, front brake pads, front wheel bearing, bearing oil seal, front brake caliper pistons, piston seals and flush brake fluid.

Braking effect has improved.

After changing the bearings, front wheel/handle no more shaking while travelling at 50km/h with both hands slightly away from the handle grips.

Bro Swift, yours.

If you have time, remember to change your front bearings...

2 x bearing ($16 ea)

2 x oil seal

Total cost about $40 to $45.

I have 2 set of USED EBC HH front brake pads for sale, they are in good condition.

Left with about 3mm thick, Original new one is about 5mm thick, after 25,000 km, only use 2mm.

$8 for one set, without installation.

Soon will be upgrade to Master Level of Chief Engineer of Divvy ....:cheeky:

Bro MC tan ,

Another enquiry .. when u removed the rear wheel ,the calipiers need to removed with care ...but when install back ... i notice they will put the pump in to the bleed screw to pump out the excess Hydyalic oil to maintain the pressure of the braking ...

Did u do that :cheeky:

cos i encounter B4 that not enuff pressure cos the whole brake compress fully down ... and i shot off got to pump and pump with my feet then it get back enuff pressure to get back the proper braking effect ....

For you case, the mechanic did a sub-standard brake fluid flushing.

A proper brake service and flushing of fluid, you will get a good and solid braking effect.

Heyrul..... For this post...I think u should find suitable window where other bikers can easily find. I think this topic is also good fo me so that I can help to look out during my patrols.
