yest i just pumped petronas n today it seems the engine is runnig duller n bike feels heavier, previous was pumping esso/mobil f1. is petronas having a lower octane?

so far i've got the best fc is shell vpower. power wise, never in my blood to rev to much, so i dont know.

shell fuel never gave me fuel consumption at all. Nothing and nothing but thick crusts of carbon deposits.

i just got my bike. first pumped vpower from shell coz they had promotion, for the same price as 98 for limited hours. then i pumped SPC 95 yesterday and used half tank of it through a city trip and a west bound trip this morning, and both times i felt so shagged!

 

then i pumped esso 5000 in the evening. woah i tell you, can feel relieved!

i never care about brands of petrol..

i juz use 95 and ride it hard..

well for my 150 i sometimes use 92 as well.

higher octane= more compression it can take, so y dont i give more power. although given in the same engine, the effect is very slight without tweaking.

 

Lower-octane gas (like "regular" 87-octane gasoline) can handle the least amount of compression before igniting.

try putting in 87 and compare it to 98. u'll definately feel a difference.

many vehicles list 95 as the minimum.

i hear petronas is the best oil in MSIA as it is pure..

n i heard also dat shell oil is not dat pure..it mixes wit abit of water or etc to increase their company profit in MSIA..
