Stainless steel cable-tie

any1 heard of Stainless steel cable-tie...??

it's like a cable-tie,but made from metal... Prefer to be Stainless steel coz it's gonna be fixed @ hot area(exhaust pipe)...

been looking for ite myself too.. guess its for exhaust wrap huh?

 

in the end i used the bracket used to tighten hose to the tap dat kind..

 

just an alternative.. cheap and works

juz fixed exhaust heat wrap on my Spark135....

 

i currently use those metal-circle type of material to secure,usually for pipes...

just hope tat it can last... tat's y im looking for spare idea....

60cent non ss @ mustafa L4 nails and screw racking near the stairs.

3dollar for a ss at king george ave corner shop along the prime supermarket.

 

remember to tighten the screw after sometimes as vibration will cause the thread to loose.

Oetiker made some neat stainless steel adjustable clamps

 

It has a lower profile comparing to those worm gear adjustable clamps.

 

It looks like a stainless steel cable tie to me too...

stainles pckaging strap...use once only with strapping tools...hard to find.

used for strapping in aggressive., corrosive env....

You can try hardware shops but I am very lazy to ask around, I will buy from ebay, save time, petro, sweat, saliva and parking fees.

 

A quick search in ebay, UK seller, 10 pieces for GBP4.8 + GBP2 postage to Singapore. Total GBP6.2 ~ S$15 for 10 pieces delivered to your home.

I do have a bunch of these stainless steel ties.

There seems to be crappy you know.

It WILL NOT tie to it tightly. You can turn it around :-)

 

Each piece is at SGD$1.00.

But I warn you.. it's crappy.
