when buying NEWbike from shop.

hi there fellow forumers.

 

im buying a new bike(first hand) from bikeshop.

was wondering what entitlements am i offered to?

or what can i request for free from them?

paintwork? helmet? glove? raincoat? canvas cover? or what am i entitled to?

 

please fill me in on these info as im going to see the new bike on this coming wednesday.

know its a bit rush but well temptation is roaring and was qouted (machine+coe+insurance+tranferfee+roadtax) within my burget.

and really love that bike(my 2nd ride, first ride bought from friend)

Request for free helmet and rain coat and bike cover .. usually tats mininum .. Max is request for aftermarket pipe , alarm , shoei helmet and parking coupon ..

i ask for 1 yr rd tax, H&B box, T.C rain coat, street legal full system.

So far have bought 2 bikes first hand with quite different goodies packaged in.

 

Boon Siew only gave me a cheapo bike cover(those $10 type). They told me it's their policy not to package in things.

 

Mah gave me $500 off an AGV helmet and a Gianelli full system(supposed to be some promotion at the time).

 

I guess your mileage may differ from place to place.
