Hello,

I'd need some help here. Just got a bike at a low price, but the condition is not tip top and require some replacements. So hope you can share your experience, by giving a rough breakdown of the price for the items i need below. I'm a casual and safe rider, don't intend to "chiong" and my mileage is rather low actually.

1. Used tyre

Rear Tyre is bald, prefer a used one first that can last me a few months, before i save up and go for a good overall change for both front and rear, next time will be going for a more premium one.

2. Handlebar/Throttle Grip

I saw recommendations for some $8 ones. The current condition is, the rubber is torn and can be a little sticky. I prefer rider without gloves, so seems like some of the premium one is out as i heard they "bite" your hands a little. Don't mind slightly higher than $8 if it lasts.

3. Changing of battery

I don't know what's the correct practice of starting the vehicle, as i'm rather new. Sometimes when i start the engine and then turn on my headlight, i can feel the lighting on the speedometer/headlight/fuel gauge will start to blink slightly. Is this a sign that the battery is weak already? Also, sometimes it can stall if i don't warm up the engine first and start turning on the lights. I saw some sales threads posting up GPR Battery at S$30.00, is this the right price to pay for a battery?

4. Repairing of fuel gauge

This is an unknown problem to me when i bought the bike, and don't feel like bothering the seller again as he's been very helpful already. When i buy the bike, there was like only some 1-2 litres of petrol left. I topped it up to full tank few days ago, but the fuel gauge didn't reflect it even until today. Does it just require a repair, or need a replacement already? Please advice the costs.

5. Installation of the:

- Front fairing (need to buy and install)

- Front windscreen (i have it already, just need to install)

- Chain guard (i have it already, just need to install)

- Tighten chain (it's quite loose now)

For these, how much will it roughly costs? For the front fairing, i heard it's $40+. Is it a reasonable price?

BTW, i'm riding a NSR150 Honda SP! :)

Hope to hear from you soon, as today is my rare off day and i hope to settle it fast! :D

Regards,

Maestro

Hello,

Are you going to sell the fairing or something?

Maestro
