I was about to stop at traffic light, when i kick to neutral, my bike suddenly die off. Totally no power. but my IU still have power supply when i inserted my cash card. I checked fuse and batt, there was no problem in them. may i know what could have caused my bike dead?

i had this problem b4, it could be ur air-fuel ratio too lean. there is a knob near the carb known as idling knob, you can adjust ur air-fuel ratio by turning the knob. do you have trouble starting your bike especially during cold start?

before this misleads anyone, Idling knobs and air-fuel ratio knobs are two different knobs. Make sure you have the right one.

Cheers.

I think ahcaibiker is just riding a bicycle that's why he can't tell the difference between idling knobs and air-fuel ratio knobs. Just see his avatar and you know what i mean! :deal::deal:

Check the battery first.

For all electrical problems.. you got to start with a fully charged battery before you can even do any troubleshooting.

Put in a fully charged battery... start the bike. If the bike does not start.. it can be ignition problem.

Bike starts... measure the voltage at the battery terminals.. it must be 1 or 2 volts higher with the engine running.. if it is.. it means your charging system is OK.. if it is no different from before the engine start... your charging system is screwed.
