SP tyre

hi.. recently i just sent my bike to the shop to get the tyre change..

 

but the shop charge mi one tyre (only the back tyre) for $105.. is it overpriced? I haven't pay yet cuz it seems to be too expensive..i thought normally it should be around $60 for a tyre?

bro.. depends on the make of the tire lar... if v rubber maybe 60 bucks lar... from what i noe battlax shud be around 105... not sure.... but check the make.. if u want cheap tires go jb.. 3 months use den bumpy.,.. hahahah

105.. it should be bt39 110/70.. the price is correct.

 

bt39 120/80 is slightly more ex by prob $5-10.

really? I'm quite new, just got my bike license & in fact, i know nothing about the parts, appreciate the help from you guys. I will checked with the shop what brand they use.

guys, pardon me for my qns! am using dunlop and if i rem clearly, its tt90 or something like tt, and often it skids, whenever i uses a sudden force of brake. will all types of tyre be the same? and btw, my tyres are made in Thailand. anw, its bolding soon, so am thinking of changing to battlax. but whts the diff btw, 110/70 and 120/80? and am riding SP. bt i see some guys, the tyres are fatter. why uh? and if i chnged to battlax, wiill anything hpn? as my front tyre are dunlop and back battlax? thanks fr answering!! u use lousy tire ma. use dunlop TT900GP. made in Japan. no GP prolly made in thailand. i believe both tires TT900GP & BT39SS are good grippy tires. i used Battlax BT39SS on my sp last time. gd for cornering.

 

120/80 stock tire size. better for cornering but its heavier.

110/70 is ok to use on SP. lighter in weight, cornering ok and cheaper.

 

u decide. BTW new tires pls dun play corner as there is a layer of wax. you corner sure buang.
