Hi... I'm a newbie here... I've recently got a 2nd hand Suzuki En-125 for transport purposes...

All is in order except this. During start up, everything is normal but gradually the engine will slow down and dies by itself. My friends tells me to turn it on and revv the engine to warm it up. But his motorcycle doesn't need revving... He only need to turn it on and let it warm up by itself. He don't know the answer. Anyone knows what's the problem and the solution?

The second problem is after it is warmed up and ready to move, everything is normal. But after moving a couple of kilometers, when I have to stop the bike at a traffic light, when I clutch in, the engine will revv by itself without me touching the throttle... The throttle is not stuck... It can revv as high as 5... anyone knows what's the problem and the solution?

Thanks in advance...

The first problem sounds like low idling RPM to me. You can try tuning up/increasing the idling RPM. (e.g. your current idling rpm is 1k,tune it up to 1.5k) It could also be a foul spark plug.

The second problem could probably be related to your throttle cable. Get it checked or lube it.

It seems like your carburetor need to be re-tune.
