today, when i was riding back home, suddenly my busa just went dead. Tried to start it a couple of times but failed. Suddenly, I realised, maybe it was the plug. Cause the 1st day when i brought her out from the dealer, it suddenly stopped. Upon checking, they found that the plugs went kawput! So I took the initiative to change em. Luckily I did keep a spare when my track days with my gixxer 1000-K3. It was an NGK Iridium plugs. So I changed it and Viola!!! It started running again. It is those plugs which were dead. But how can it went dead for just a couple of kilometres? I just changed it few days ago. By now, I knew that something was wrong. BTW, the plug that i took off was really bad. Really blacked like it was overburnt.....what could be the cause?

bad fuel consumption + bad plug = bad fuel management....pump, injector, sensor, ECU...various reason...must send back to diagnose...

Think u r running too rich. Better change to a cheaper plug to aviod the waste until you fix the fuel consumption problem.

Your situation seems not so good :giddy: Should try to bring in your bike to one of the reputable shop and have it fully checked ASAP. :giddy:

If not u will continue to wait and guess for the rite answer which in turn means more $$ to spend when any unforseen thing happens.

Yeah ... raise my rear. I also want to drop my front. Found a cheaper solution. Once I complete and confirm, will let you know. :D

Don't tell me it's a 4 risers and 4 bolts...I've been thinking about that....

Original top cramp only allow the proload adjuster to protrude. 02 fork tubes are blocked.

Whereas the aftermarket is complete fork tube diameter. That allows busa owner to drop down.

There could be other factors as well. Finding out more. Wish I get lucky to find the cheapest solution. :goodluck:

How about the riser spacer? I think it actually pushed down the front part while maintaining the fork position. Proload not affected.

Hi Razin, it does have an effect as far as handling is concern. But the effect is not directly affecting the forks which inadversely not too great an impact on the physics of the forks movement.

Hi Steel, the main concern is to counter balance my 2 inches drop at the rear using dogbone lowering link.

I understand. I mean you can do that for spacer thingy for that purpose. But if you want to have a better effect then only you go for the triple tree clamp. Which I thought might be of a more over all improvement.
