Last night, as I was riding, saw a cute girl with mini skirt sitting down by the road side. So I stopped and say hello. She looked at me and then started to cry. I was lost but I ask her to cool down and explain to me what happened. I invited her for a cup of coffee and went straight to a coffeshop near Geylang. She was sharing with me how she was cheated by her boyfriend and was left by the roadside all alone. Her boyfriend took all her money and she has nothing left on her. SHe thanked me for stopping by and commented on my big bird. I said I have another bigger bird and she wants to see it. SO she suggested we check into a room. While walking along the corridor, i heard someone screaming... when i open my eyes, I saw my baby crying out for me.. WASTED!!!!!!

hi all, i wanna check if anyone got this problem as on their Digital Dash BB. I hardly ride my BB but recently, i found my temperature reading on my BB is getting weird. It will show a random jumping number from 80-110. ie 80-90-87-110..etc. But when i left the bike idling .. the reading is constant approx 100-108 with the fan kicks in and out. But once on the move.. the reading starts jumping again. The number jumps like every 2-3sec .. Anyone face similiar prob before .?? or where is the best workshop to diagnose the problem .. ?? thks !!

As long as it does'nt go to 122 and blinks its fine for me..last time when i got my 05 bb, the tach needle goes haywire everytime i hit a bump...it goes 10krpm even when i did'nt acclerate..shop quote to change meter if not wire harness or ecm..but being a Diy person..i traced it to a loose 20pin connector on the left side of the headcowl...cut the old connector and crip a new one..

 

Problem solved,only spend 1.50sgd but 2 solid sunday to trace it...

Bro if you on budget can try PLANET MOTORS at ubi shop beside car paint shop ,look for skinny tall guy i call him "panjang"(not real name).

 

Temp never go up to >122 u r safe.

 

also can try paste hello kitty sticker over on the temp lcd. hehehe.....

U mean to raise the height of ur rear suspension? Theres this thing called rear shock link i believe.but i dun really noe what its function. But i believe with a raised rear,ur cornering would be unstable i guess....

To raise the height,juz do wat i did.

Get 2 washer which hole can fit ur little finger

Use a vice grip to hold these 2 washer and use a hacksaw to cut a slot to make the washer to look like a U.

Use a 4x4 plank and place ur mainstand on it.

Remove seat,loosen the shock nut..size 17 if im not mistaken,slot the 2 washer and tighten.

Do note by the time its done,u'll discover ur chain has slaken so remember to tighten it.

Read from CBRXX the increase rear makes the bird to have shorter wheelbase which make turning in corner faster and faster recovery. Ideal for those whose is long legged coz u don wanna be tiptoeing while stopping at junction

Raise the rear will turn in faster, but U will put more weight on the front wheel .. So will utilized the front tires more than rear. If u kep too low... Watch ur front end..

The shim that they use is 6mm but the 2 washers i used is abt 5.5mm which is juz rite. If we meet someday i'll let u sit on mine to see if its gd enuff for u but im leaving for Batam for some project and will return on next Thursday. U can juz DIY urself and choose ur own height preference.
