Well if you want a field test, so far its expecting alot for a 4T 150cc to reach 180km/h, it shouldn't be a problem for most 2T sportbikes. Guess that's what people see and care less about the technicalities.

it is not possible to "field test" fairly. because it is impossible to design and build 2 bikes where everything else is the same except it engine cycle. if that is possible, you will have the 2T bike having faster pick up but eventually both bikes will end up with the same top speed.

      Hi guys,

Just passed my TP and got my license last week. I am very excited to ride around Singapore but I have few doubts and queries getting my first bike.

I am 50/50 with getting brand new bike or getting a second hand bike first. All I know is getting a brand new bike is less hassle coz bike shop wil help with all the admin stuffs while getting a second hand, I might encounter some newbie problems like doing proper checking of bike, kena cheated by seller, apply insurance and all.

Most likely I will end up getting second hand bike first, incase i drop here drop there the bike, it wont be that painful hehe.
And I want to have a feel riding in public roads as well. Looking for a street bike with fuel consumption by the way.

Hope I can seek for some advise from you pro riders out there.
