How u break spanner?

The 14mm bolts that were very tight probably got torque. So u better find out the specs and torque them back otherwise danger of vibration causing them to come loose.

 

Who is holding onto the sevice manual????

In the process of changing the pipes myself, I found :

- Nuts are super tight lah..especially the number 14 mm ones used plenty many WD40...and arm power...

- problamatic hook for seat release lock attach to rear plastic....alamak..

- 2 broken 12mm spanner & 1 bleeding left hand...

- 6 hours of my week-end time

(Period quoted includes yelling out in pain when spanner gave way and driving around to look for new spanners to replace broken ones....)

Maybe I should have paid mechanics $30 .. Kekeke.... Too many things to remove in order to change pipes lah... On the other hand, advantage is such that quite sure it cannot be stolen....not unless the whole bike gone...

 

so yr inspection passed?? with the silencer on?? Vicom Kaki bukit??

 

the part on the seat lock is really problematic...but quite easy after u got the right move....

Bro, I was told that if no rivet & spot weld of silencer in the cans, can forget about getting the LTA papers so I went with all original like you lor. Only 94db noice level for ARROW.

The Vicoms guys told me that maximum allowed by LTA regulation is 107db !!Kekeke....

Anyway, papers all I got already.

And also we can offer our help in future for Varadero V1K seat locksmith services...

One spanner actually got crack and broken off at the tip part. The other, just worn off in the ring part so lost grip. Not that I have big arm power but I think the spanners already substain some form of internal injuries before.... .

I do purely for interest lah.

If TDMs folk are interested in wat I do, I'll be there for you ppl.

 

Items available in the market for us are either crazily overprice or difficult to get your hands on... So,

my objective is to build functional items that are useful to us at a very minimal cost.

 

Also in the process of building things, I GAIN friends, Alliance & brothers.

The only LOSS to me is my time....but how to measure time that are well spend doing stuff that you enjoy:smile:

1) Crashbars coz NONE of us have Not Not DROPPED D Bike B4 !!! Abt $280

2) Topbox

3) Mainstand abt $270

4) Scottoiler if u r d lazy kind like me abt $170

5) Side Panniers if u intend to go touring

 

All items can be found at M-technik 5 Jln Wangi pls go in the evening abt 5pm

Items 1 3 4 I would recommend to install there coz their price includes installation and its cheaper than Motorworld. Motorworld also do not carry ready stock.

4 d Topbox and side panniers depends on ur budget coz its abt $1500 4 d whole set. Alternatively u can get GIVI's 4 abt half d price

 

Biketech21 at dunlop street carrys another brand of accessories SW Motech. The price are lower there but they do not incude installation. If u r not keen to install the accessories urself the final price u would pay will be abt M-Tech's

 

The third brand of accessories is Givi but i do not know where to get them
