anyway, do u need a used givi side rack?(minus boxes) - gd to protect your rear fairings & exhaust in case of any drop of the bike..

anyway, i was surprised a huge event like NBW didn't even get any mention from the media...where were they anyway???

even a shitty event like Full Throttle gets a short 1-min of air-time in the primetime news...few hundred bikes moving in a convoy like nothing worth mentioning....but NSH accident involving bike and overturned lorry does...

media - always putting blame on us bikers...anyway RIP to rider...

Hi Stan, Sorry, I think you missunderstand, I meant the seller "push into shop" to get rid of bike, not trade in.

 

The seller told me about the 3.5K offer, I don't think he would deflate the figure. The export thing is a quote direct from Mr Loois, I was talking to him as he opened his shop yesterday morning.

 

My experience confirms the above, in 05 when I could not sell my HayabusaX to private buyer so I drag bike to shops all over to get sell it and in the end only one shop offer 8K and just 2 week ago I run into current owner whom just paid near 10 if i recall correctly and its now over 3 years latter!

 

I was lucky to get this deal, if not for him i would have bought ST11 instead. the fellow wanted to sell quickly due to buying 4 wheeler and I had cash so I think he was pleased with deal, I gave him what he asked.

Bro I understand what you mean, but as an experience biker, u and i know that only dumbos or deperate ppl will sell their bikes to shops. they offer cut throat prices... not only vara... other makes too. if not, how those bike shop make money.

Also, not our bikes no export demand, its becoz our bikes are too ex in Singapore. which country pay COE for bikes??

The engine internals are top notch now. But still cant achieve top , so required to swop carbs with urs then do dyno again.

 

HP abt 65 now only.. thats low. But low end torque burst is superb..

12. Clutch plates, did you have issues with your clutch housing?

Is there anything from the list above that wasnt done or anything that was done and not here. I am also thinking HKL for my Major due for almost a year oredi, been contemplating on whether wanna sell or not. But have made up my mind to keep the fattie. So i guess it will help me in budgeting for my repairs.

Zac>> The bigger chunk of the repairs bills were from the workmanship for Dyno tunning, Top head over haul. This 2 cost almost 500 already. nothing done on the cam, then the next damaged was the KNN and Spocket set. Almost 400++ The total bill was close to 1.5k , but abit of here and there bargain , finally lump sum 1400. Given the manhours or time spend inside the shop,I think shd be there liao. I think all in all abt 20 dyno runs being perform due to the carb issue, I seen all records inside the dyno computer

We have meet all our objectives for this trip ......the sunflower field was great...We have been busy taking a lots of photo with the sunflower...visiting the sunflower field & taking a tram ride was great.

 

Sorry guys due to my card reader down, temporary cannot upload most of the photos. Must upload some of our crazy thing that we do...especially with our two bros that they did in thailand...

 

 

 

Day 6: Today we will be exploring Ayuttaya Town ....visit the old ancient city & phillip will lead us the way with the help of the GPS (it's my off day today in leading the way). Definitely will be a much more relaxing day as we will be renting a small cc "Kup Kia" to bring us there.

 

Tomorrow DonDidie will been proceeding toward the north, Phillip & me will slowly heading down toward the south & end our central thailand tour.

This guy seem quite reasonable, maybe you could elaborate on the above. Anyway price is subjective and your market is EFI vara, not carb one. Maybe Dili spoil market for you with their 05 model.

I believe $80 is the original air filter. If you have the budget to spend, you should try and get the KNN filter which is reuseable, but it cost around $150.

Feeling not hurt, sounded like you knew something about the seller and bike. Bike is carb with no accessories, bike scruffy looking but otherwise sound.
