Hella New 0902 Horns -

Big in Volume,

Small in size

Common snail horns has a comfortable range of 100-110dB.

0902 has a sound pressure of 116dB - same as Super Tone (for those who know this model)

118-110= 8dB (difference between excuse me& WAKEUP DUDE)

The dimension is so much smaller

90mm vs 123mm

A big plus point for bikes because we have limited space.

0902 vs supertone

There are so many aftermarket horns, why Hella 0902?

1) Loudness without competition (similar to supertone)

2) Size enough to hide nicely in most of the bikes

3) Premium quality product at a REASONABLE price

What for can you ask more?

Do refer to MO thread for details

Rem to read the FAQs..... before pm/sms me.

  • 2 weeks later...

60 accidents a day involving TAXIS

I believe this heading has been flashing across all forums since 15 May when it was publish.

Can read more from here .....

http://www.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story/A1Story20100516-216523.html

http://www.asiaone.com/a1media/motoring/05May10/images/highrisk-taxis1.jpg

(courtesy from asiaone)

What are the odds that most of the collision are between a cab and 2 wheeler?

Quote

"Some note that taxi drivers have far greater odds of getting into collisions given the long hours they spend on the roads."

This is one reason why getting a quality horn helps to wake up those tired drivers (not only taxis)

Ultimately is flesh vs metal.........

Reducing chances of us 2 wheelers to kiss the tarmac is the 1st layer of protection.

The old saying goes prevention is better then cure.....

my review of this horn: speechless

pro: i tot my stork horns were loud, this is even louder. imagine i heard an faint echo when i applied this horn, n i'm only on 1pc now (due to the cons). trust me, it's not my imagination, right horn hella, right ear echo.

con: they painted the nut with the bracket together. i had trouble taking it out, as the bracket dont fit my bike.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

Hi Bro,

I do not have a garage,

So Installation is pretty impossible.

I can provide advise and recommendations.

U maybe read up more about in my CMO thread.

There is quite a handful of FAQs....

Btw LTA don approve nor endorse any aftermarket products.

Its rather that you pass the inspection criteria thats all.

My horns has went thru inspection for 4 years already.... ^_^

Rainy season is back .......

Q: Are horns waterpoof?

A:

Of course NO. This is a common myth amongst layman and is easily cheated when advertisement says its WATERPROOF.

If it is waterproof then where the sound come from?

Normal Snail horns are subjected to high chances of water ingress

(meaning if u pass thru Bukit Timah Flash Flood, good luck to you).

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b250/anodise5757/Hella/Horns/twintonerusty.jpg

rusty horn due to water ingress

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b250/anodise5757/Hella/Horns/twintonehornthruBukitTimahflood.jpg

rusty and muddy horn (say hi to Bukit Timah / Orchard style flash Flood)

Unlike snail horns,

Disc horns on the other hand is splash-proof and more robust.
