total candidates = 19 (3 class 2, 16 class 2A)

i think total pass = 13

 

i went through 2 lessons on cb750, and remaining on the new bike. agree the cb600 wobbles at rpm below 2k, crank and s-course was my greatest fear, quite difficult to maintain stability in gear 2 at that damn-low speed. and good luck to those taking tp soon!

Review of TP 2/2A - 5 Dec 2011

 

25 were supposed to be taking test today, but saw on the namelist that one 2A candidate got cancelled.

Total 7 Class 2 candidates, the rest 2A.

I think about 4-5 candidates didnt clear the test today.

 

Overall, very long gap between candidates. The previous candidate is at the T junction for right turn before narrow plank (after the S and crank and junction) before the next one is called to begin his run. The first candidate will begin at abt 0945-1000hrs and the last guy No. 25 will be starting his run after 1030-1045hrs.

 

Note: The long gap means that each tester has more time to observe each candidate and penalise for more mistakes. It is more of the normal riding mistakes that will add to your points nowadays. So do take note of your safety checks, etc.

 

Once completed, all will meet in the Level 3 Classroom 4 by 11am... just a bit more waiting before the results are announced. Then wait a little longer for the licences to be printed with new qualification for those who cleared. For those who didnt manage to, they will be called to a separate room when the results are announced.

 

Just a tip for those who are going to take their 2/2A tests: During all your practice sessions, do try to find the most ideal bike that you are comfortable with. Remember the number cos you are allowed to choose your bike (according to your test number tag) and use it for your test. First come, first served.

 

@lv3338 - Pls add on if I have missed out any points.

Yes , the tester emphasized a lot on the safety..... I got no demerit point for the courses ...but got some points from mistakes like from safety related...

they watched the testees closely.... as i got to the t-junction..prior plank prior the next testees was told to start....

too tired to do any additional riding after getting home. havent added my own name to the bike's insurance coverage yet, so i cannot ride it. besides, it is still at my friend's place. havent gotten the season parking at my place too. haha.

it could be our sweet memory....... u can also ride in with your cl2 bike when bbdc has safetly open house...

So, how's the passing rate these days?

 

A friend has to take his class 2a 3 times before passing. All had failed cos of the accumulation of minor pts. His passing score was 18 which he maintains is a token pass given his no of attempts.
