As long as nothing requires Boulevard parts, you are ok. It was a very reliable bike when I owned it. But parts are hard to find, I was fortunate enough not to have to source for them as nothing broke down.

Maybe you can go down to guan hoe at rangoon road and take a look at their spare part fiche book for suzuki boulevard?...they are able to order for u if not available on hand

just curious...which year is your boulevard from?....2007 onwards?you can also get spare parts from ebay if you do know the spare parts numbers...

I would look into how easy it is to get the tyres if they r not a common tire size...also if you can download the workshop manual or haynes manual online for free or you buy online.....

I would ready to buy or order spare parts like wheel bearings...steering bearings...fork seals and dust cover sets...gaskets needed if you wanna do valve clearance....swing arm bearings..clutch cable if yours is not hyrdraulic operated......brake pads type...rectifier...battery model ....etc....

I believed yours is fuel injected, upside down forks and shaft driven which is pretty cool and stuff which i have no knowledge of...hehehe...

Hope these help....oh yes I know nuts about boulevard 400 but i have a feeling they are also known as m50 or c50 in the usa depending on which year.....apologies I cant help much more...

.cheers...

I have been to all Suzuki motorcycle parts dealer in Singapore and most have not heard of the Boulevard. It was so difficult to replace the rectifier, I had to buy one of a different model from Ever Success and modified it to fit my Boulevard. And that is the only thing I have changed other than tires and the regular maintenance stuff!

Ideally, the owner should be able to get some help from the shop who brought this in but my experience with them was nothing useful. After all, after selling the bike and making money off the initial purchase, the rest is small money.

Things may not have changed much regarding replacement of spare parts. But other than that, it's an awesome bike, absolutely no problems at all. I get a fuel consumption rate of 25km per litre consistently.
