So i know if your bike frame got crack already means you gotta scrap or try to send it to welding. can anyone explain to me the procedures of scrapping a bike that is still on COI? like what should i do, what should i say to shop, what happens really etc or if you know any good mobile welding services.

Hi , Are there dealers who pay for taking parts before scrapping a scooter?
My Piaggio X8 has heating problems still few more years COE left. Don't want to overhaul engine, rather scrap and take back COE. The scooter is otherwise in very good condition. Wanted to check if we know any motor shops which salvage the parts. It has a nice original box and most of the exterior and other parts can be reused.

2 months ago I bought a CB400 and recently found that the Engine number in the vehicle is different from that of document from LTA. I have been advised to legally change the engine without which I can't renew road tax. I would like to know where I can get old engine for CB400 (from scrapped bike?) and how much it may cost. If I can't change the engine I may have to scrap the bike. Will I get any money if I scrap the bike?
