well, still running in so cant say much but coming off the husky and drz, this beast is really smooth in terms of shifting and vibrations..lol apart from that, so far its a joy to ride..the seating posture is not too sports bike leanin forward or too much straightened up like drz, more natural position. pillion no complains so far except for the heat since not use to it. sooo, wat are u guys waiting for? join me! cheers :cheeky:

lol..true.. anyway before i went for this purchase i did a lot of research particularly in parts availability up north since kawasaki is the top selling brand in msia hence they have great support. the sales of z800 is immensely crazy in Msia compared to anywhere else even europe and they have hundreds in the waiting list for the Thai factory to delivers stocks to them. so for parts availability shuldnt be that bad, u can either go to JB where the kawa agents are or u can ask ur mech to order. but that i foresee will be in maybe 1-2 years time when wear and tear begins to show. as of now oil filter and eo changes can be done here, share the same as z1000 air filer and oil filter. i check with shop at JB as well on the original accessories from Kawa and they are relatively much cheaper comparing to online prices and ebay whereas aftermarket ones are cheaper online.

base on the msians rider feedbacks, the get ard 19km/l and as much as 21-22 if u take it easy on the throttle. i know for a fact loois and speedway bring the bike in and most shops i enquire do not. prices range from 21-23k OTR depending hw skill u are in nego, lol..i sold my drz which was fully paid and paid ard 11k for dwnpayment. personal experience i cant say much, the odo is only 15km as of today. lol.. but u can go to z800 malaysia FB, if u know malay there are tons of info over there like possible issues they face from factory like leakage, things to look out for, performance and maintanence etc..or the official z800 FB page. cheers, worry less buy one join me! we can go jalan2 at JB together..lol

some i took today cheers!

my k8 750 can get 17-21km/l which is the same as the z800

Thus i was quite surprise.
