Hey guys! Due to very little response from this new thread. I would like to invite all of you guys to make some noise and check out if there are any events upcoming in our Singapore Tuas circuit. Most importantly this new thread will also serve as a place for all of us to talk about anything that relates to racing, techniques, brakings, taking a corner...etc etc.

The scooter scene is still very small in Tuas unlike the Yamaha cubs. So i would like to promote this new thread for some of you guys here whom always wanted to know more about scooter racing and also where and when to watch. The upcoming race will be on 1st of March and it's open category.

If you are interested, you can post some of your enquiries. Our guys here are very friendly and willingly to reply your post.

Your support will be much appreciated.

wah, lucky you tell me, if not i would have pump in petrol in the big hole. Thanks!! So I just pour in 2T into the tank right? I read it would self mix the 2T?

A little late in posting, not been checking here regularly.

You have a separate 2T tank right? (the one that says OIL) so if your autolube is working fine, you could just add there lah.

If not, you can premix yourself by adding straight into fuel tank. 2% 2T is the right mixture. ie. 20ml for every 1ltr of petrol pumped. You could be slightly kiasu and do like 2-2.5% :)

Actually, what does OTR includes? I have never bought a new bike before. :cheeky:

I checked with Bike Productions and they are selling LX150 at $5800. Additional charges are the IU unit ($1XX), COE, road tax and insurance. I was told that GST is already included. So a new LX150 including 3rd party insurance would be around $7500.

Hi all

My vespa was knocked into accidentally by some P plate driver today. The side panels are badly dented and I need to either (1)replace the body plastics or (2) repair the damage areas.

1. Anyone knows a good bike shop specialising in vespa repairs?

2. Can anyone give me an estimate for such repairs?

3. Also is it going to take more than a week for repairs of such nature?

If anyone here can provide me with the necessary info, it is much appreciated.

Different shop uses OTR differently...

For bike production, OTR means with Bike, COE and 2nd Party Insurance (if HP)

For Loois, mean everything include box, helmet IU everything. I can even get 12 month road tax from him.

For ASP, almost same as Loois.

Some shop will want agreement fees after OTR is agreed and deposit is paid. Or will include another 7% GST. So in my opinion, if buy new bikes, get from reputable shops.

I used to patronise Mah but had since stopped due to extreme disappointment in their after sales. Looi's is good service and fuss free but slightly expensive. Also some of their bikes are parallel import so watch it! ASP is where I just bought my new bike last week
