but these got nothing to do with electricals on ur bike mah...

btw, a little note here, on standard voltage on a bike...

on power up your bike before cranking, you should be getting 12v...

upon cranking, you should be getting not lesser than 10v...

upon idling without headlights on, you should be getting 13.5v...

upon cruising without headlights on, you should be getting 14v...

pls take the above reading with +/- 0.2v...

if i'm not wrong, from ur mentioned, it's time to go check ur battery & ur rectifier...

Which means if headlight on the volt will be lower ? Cause mine is always on hmmm and cruising volt around 13.4

yes bro... and the higher the walt of your bike, the higher the current drawn... hence it all depends... cruising at 13.4v still ok, ur rectifier is still functioning... but ur battery is slightly below the level... still safe la... :)

hmmm... if like that hor, i would suggest you prepare a battery on standby & bring it along when u go touring, in case sh!ts happens...

from ur situation, ur battery still can run but a little bit weak that's all... perhaps you would like to do a battery maintenance? yea... it's like charging the battery kinda stuffs...

No good for fazer...... Cos we have mainstand.... wahahahahahahaha:cheeky:

Hi, you are right. However WHEEL JOCKEY can be used for front wheels too, applications include cleaning of rims and inspections of tire leakage and any wheels works. Thanks for giving the feedback, we appreciate it.

no tall hats la... i only know a little bit here a little bit there... if u wan, i can give a little bit of guidance here and there but not do everything for you... nothing is more satisfying than doing up ur own mods on ur bike... :)

a small box with a few switches for your stuffs are cool... yes u can do it this way but you got to have good waterproofing abilities on the electrics as well as water drainage function too cus u wish to mount it on ur handle bar... or u can do it smtg like the below... then route them to whatever places you wish...

erp unit is easy... headlights you just need to divert a switch into the side core plug in the left side of ur head fairing... fuse for 12v socket got to depends on what applicant you use... fog lights also depends, most of the comes with the fuse but if it does and u're unsure, you can alws refer to the manual or ask the seller...

jus arrange for a time out for kopi then we can share some knowledge with each other... cheers! :D

that is a good idea too... or if ur battery died off as well as no jumper cable and unable to push start ur bike, there's one more ultimate way! to jump start directly from battery to battery contacts! =edwin= gets to see that happened on his frn's R1 at his melaka trip! hohoho! :thumb:

take the measurements, drill small holes around the designated measurements, cut & trim a bit, then file & file & file till you exhausted and get the correct measurements to fit your switch... :)

the switch box i got it installed not on the handlebar, but somewhere else hidden... if u intending to get it on your handlebar, you got to add in some waterproofing components... :)

actually, there are many many ways you can add in switches for your devices... try going for more meet-up sessions to look at other frns how they do their switches... cus some times, it is more difficult to explain & show you the dos & don'ts in forum jus by being a keyboard warrior... :)
