he talks to u after u call him like as if u owe him money not the other way ard... his 2-3 weeks is actually months and his promises are all empty..was pissed dealing with him, good to know ure doing something for the bros who kena conned before as well..take him down!

I am closing my comments and the other threads because i do not wish for this to start becoming a Hate Forum towards BMWCHOY.

 

It started as a precautionary note to other buyers on how my purchase was handled by BMWCHOY AKA Adventure on Wheels.

 

To state the facts:

 

1. When i came to Choy on 2 Mar thereabouts to order the Panniers and Rack, i had already done my homework and checked with Moto24.org on the Price+DHLShipping. It would cost me $1230 after EUR>SGD Conversion. Choy quoted me $1240 and promised it will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Since there was not much difference, and Choy seemed to be a nice person, i decided to proceed to order the items from him and was asked to place a deposit of $640.

 

2. 3 weeks later, i was told that the Panniers had arrived but the Rack was not here yet. I was then told to proceed to make the remaining payment of $600 when the racks arrived.

 

3. Week 4, was informed that the items were here and i could proceed down to collect. Whilst at IMM, i was told that the Right Pannier was unavailable as he had sold it to someone else. Of course i was pissed, how could he sell it off to someone else, knowing that it was meant for me? He assured me that the he had ordered a new one and that it would arrive the following week, he had also asked me to settle the balance $600, which i did reluctantly.

 

4. Week 5, was asked to ride down to IMM for a photo taking for my Bike with the Panniers on. I asked if my Pannier was on the way, he replied "Coming, this week."

 

5. Week 6, nothing heard out.

 

6. Week 7, msged him on Tuesday asking where was my Pannier, he said not arrived. He will check for me, after that nothing heard out.

 

7. 27th April, called Choy and asked about my Pannier, he kept saying its on the way. I explained to him that i have been very patient and he keeps changing the delivery dates. I told him that i would have to report this to CASE if he continues. His reply was "Go ahead"

 

8. Issued out Post on this incident to warn others on his dealings

 

9. Choy made a report claiming that I had threatened Bodily Harm to him.

 

 

After all the correspondence and the replies he had given, I begin to question if BMWCHOY is even aware that his business practices are very unethical.

 

A consumer has placed his trust and made a purchase, with full payment BECAUSE he was promised that the goods will arrive in the stated time.

If the consumer had known that it would take MONTHS instead of WEEKS, then i am very sure he/she would not have made that purchase, knowing that there were other alternatives to get the item.

 

BMWCHOY seems to think that it is ok to make Customers wait and wait and then wait some more.. after that, he makes them wait again. All we Customers need is Honesty. Tell us WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? Is it you are waiting for more Orders or is there a Scheduled Shipment that you wait for? DO NOT TELL US IT IS ON THE WAY, IT IS ON THE WAY.

 

Just be honest and tell us the truth. Its very hard at this day and age, for an item to take 2-3 months to reach Singapore, when DHL takes 4-7 days. If its on a SAMPAN to Singapore, at least tell us. I am sure we will understand. Just do not cover it up.

 

I know for a fact that, i have not used a single word or Vulgarity on BMWCHOY, nor have i threatened any bodily harm to him. BUT i do wish to apologise to BMWCHOY, because i may not know the whole story, i may not know what goes on back at his home, or how his business is doing. I made the warnings because i was angry and i wanted my items as promised. And for that BMWCHOY i am Sorry.

 

From all the post gathered, there seems to be alot of angst and unhappiness, and there also seems to be a few people who came forward to state that they have not received their items after 5 months of paying.

I do hope these things can be rectified and please deliver the rest of the items to the customers. Since you have taken their Monies, please be kind enough to deliver them the items that they have ordered.

 

I do not wish to make matters any worse, nor do i want to destroy anyone's reputation or business. There are alot of people who still enjoy doing business with you CHOY, but incidents like this do not help in any way.

 

It is ok if you still wish to pursue this and lay claim that you are not in any wrong whatsoever. Everyone has their perception of themselves. For me, i think that i have not behaved as how a decent human being should, hence i wish to make things right instead of pouring oil to the fire.

 

I apologise once again to BMWCHOY for the things i have said. I hope that this matter can be resolved soonest.

Bro you apologize for what? You got your item already? If no just go to CASE. Compile a list of every single rider who have ordered but have yet to receive their items. How long you guys waited? Got proof of receipt? Better to go proper channel. Lodge a police report if necessary. Making warnings does not amount to threatening. Best not to post anything about the shop lest they can file defamation suit. All the best :cool:

Did he threaten you so that's why you are being so apologetic now? Something don't seem right.....or was it you who have not been telling us the whole complete story? Although I like to think it is not but your sudden about turn make me wonder why you are doing what you did. If indeed this Choy has fleece you of your money, you have nothing to fear but demand justice rightfully. Since you have open this topic and quite a few has confirmed of similar happenings, you are doing us & yourself a dis-service by letting him off like that. He will go on to continue to cheat others. Do you want other innocent bikers to suffer this? If indeed you do nothing, than you are a selfish person, to say the least....but I think you are not but just afraid you might lose your money eventually.

 

Do you even think that being nice to him would work (He is a con-man....hello?!)? I doubt so....he is a serial con-man that has been repeating his pattern over & over again. You are just one of his latest victim. So unless you are willing to stand up and do something about it, don't bring your story and warn us but yet you are unwilling to do anything about it.

 

We reckon there are enough people or have known someone who have been con or cheated by him before, not just you alone. We don't want such people preying on innocent friendly bikers because it gives a bad name to us and for those who genuinely have things to sell / buy. So it is up to you if you want to put this con-man to a stop.....

I think ts is scared that the choy had reported him to police. Bt like the others say, if u did nothing wrong, nothing to be scared of. Dont think he have the business and money, does not mean he is above the law. No one is

Report him to the police and let the police handle with him if u got the extra cash bring him to court

You may not only be the one to Kana, from him way back I do remember he collect the money without making any delivery to send you North in Thailand.

This guy is never a honest people to duel with at all, whether he is BMWchoy or Mr Chua is all the smae person somehow.

He know joy well everyday there are biker born out there, He had be living like this way to long already.

So biker beware that all I can said for this matter.

whoaaaa...luckky i never buy helmet from him..

 

and from my experience in ordering overseas via DHL (I have DHL Account),

 

From Asian Countries will take 3-4days to reach SG

From European Countries will take 1-2weeks to reach SG

From UK will take 2weeks to reach SG

From US will take 1week to reach SG

 

2-3months to reach SG is really out! maybe next time you should ask for the DHL tracking number bro so u can track your orders.

Under lemon law.. The consumer has the right to ask for a refund within 6 months of purchase.. The seller will then have the option of refund repair or replacing the product.. A refund of 75 percent is not acceptable and is against the lemon law...

Bad experience wif me too!!!!bought helmet (a)..pay half oweadi..wait n wait abt 4 mtn.shipment has arrive.i hapi,wen ther,got a diffrent helmet.wen ask i bought (a) wat..he sae,no stock,u take (b)..as long same price..nonsense.wat to do,just pay,n press all to my member dont go to tht shop!!

Aiyah report to police pointless...

Singapore police will push you to other department...

All bunch of lazy assess...

Just go to court pay small amount to open case and make small claims towards the party..

Simple...

Other than that report to our corrupted news paper..

Or print flyers and distribute outside the shop...

Or just don't buy from this people...

Business every business sure this things happen..

It's just business...

After 3 years of squatting and court stuff due to your speeding issue, you sure changed alot.
