 well, he seems quite a nice guy... but I still need a little choke to start my bike from stone cold conditions...

Mr Yee also told me to watch out for TP/ROV, saying that now they very on-the-ball to catch illegal pipes... :sian:

Just curious, anyone riding a carb model able to cold start without choke or throttling? I'm assuming the EFI's should be able to.

Great info NA... a bit of education for me...

Wow... to be really frank, I'm still not sure how the 49states sounds like... probably heard before, but didn't know what it was...

I bought my bike with SE1, which is not very loud (I think?) But still, hope dun kenna ROV/TP though...

Well, actually I bought a used bike, & the SE's were installed by the previous owner, so what I saw was what I got. No agent spooked me to getting those pipes :D

I am also not a fan of super loud pipes coz I dun wanna piss off my neighbours.

I fully agree that the right sound tone with good amount of decibel is the most appealing. I gather from your earlier comments that the 49state pipes are the best sounding?

Hopefully can meet up with you guys one day to experience the sounds of the different pipes, so I can improve on the VTwin orchestra that I enjoy everyday.

Nonetheless, for myself who have just upgraded from a single cylinder thumper, the SE1's still strike a nice chord for my aural pleasure.. The decibel level so far seems acceptable too... Not really loud unless I blast the throttle.

Really appreciate the sharing of HD experiences... :thumb:

Lastly, is it just me or do you guys also enjoy watching your bike vibrate (my engine is rigid mount) while idling at a low rpm?

SE1 ... Huh ... Thats one of the Screaming Chicken series. Common for a new comer to kenna that S.Chick shiit from the agent ...

IMO, loud pipes doesn't make you feels shiok, is the sound tone with good amount of decibel. That S.Chick usually are more trebly, thats not apprealing HD sound to me at all.

Don't worry, you are not alone ... Ah Fai know very well of that S.Chick effects ... LOL

Sorry, I speak too straight again.

The dealer didn't sell me S.Chick pipes. I had to source for my own :sian:

For me, how the sound will turn up is a risk 'cos I was told I'm the only one with those pipes :sian:

Mine's rubber mounted, so vibration isn't so strong.

Ofcourse, it's got to vibrate like an old washing machine to be called a bike in the first place :giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

Hi! I saw the 07 Sportster 883R model in Black a few days ago and it looks really cool.

Just wondering how much does it cost for a new bike(OTR)? Considering of getting one. Thanks.
