Yesterday i went down to Dili Trading to see the FJR.

They are selling it at 21.5k machine price with 8% interest!!!

Anyway the counter lady ask me to call up the boss direct for enquiry.

Wow, the boss actually mark up his price till 2.5K!!!

Damn it, but i must say that it really looks very pretty inside the shop!!!

Anybody can tell me the price of a brand new machine???

anyway a brand new machine price is only 26500 with the most 4.25% interest rate. sure this is a dark shop..

Ya, thats bro Comics....

but this is the way things are.... when one is desperate to sell, no willing (want to & able to afford to) buyers are on hand, thats the kind of price to expect from the shops...

there's a 'FU' 2001 Black FJR selling at Excel for $13K+, so if anyone's lookin for a cheaper FJR, can go there have a look.

someone came to view my bike the other day and offered me $16K, i told him that he can go to Excel to consider that one.

a brand-new '07 FJR should cost ard $28K++ OTR..:giddy: those that buy brandnew better make sure they keep it at least 3 yrs, if not sure to lose alot...

just heard that the '06-'07 models is 5BHP lesser than the previous '04-'05 model, not sure if thats true anyway....

JUst curious.. was wondering how come so many people start selling their FJRs now at around the same time? Got sick of the ride or FJR will have problems start surfacing after one or two years?? I always thot CL 2 bikes will not have so much problems or problems will not surfaced so soon as compared to CL 2B bikes...

Just curious...

Is it that problems will come big time after two years?? That's why I see most of them selling off after a year + or so(even the previous owner of my current ride sold it off for a brand new TDM900 after riding it for a year and 3-4 months) or some even even b4 one year??

OMG.. My FJR was registered in Aug 05, so Aug this year will be two years, then big problems will start coming?? :giddy:

I love my current ride and still think of riding it for long long time... (Unless I have the $$ to upgrade to a "Golden Chicken-Wing")...

You experienced FJRians care to advise on the problems that will surface??

Actually I wanted to a ST11 even before I register for my CL2 practicals... COnsidering a FJR too..

But after seeing that FJR at Albert Motors last Dec, I cannot take my eyes off it and placed a down-payment straight-away for it... Even though there was two old ST11 at Albert, they were nothing compared to that FJR... Furthermore, when I went to the Motor-Show last Nov, I took both Honda and Yamaha's bike booklets and did a comparison, ST11 heavier but yet lesser horse-power than FJR... Plus such a new FJR was there for sale... So no 2nd thots about it, I bought the FJR...

I have been riding it since 13th Feb this year, the day I passed my CL2... Rode it up to Hatyai on 18th Feb (CNY chu yi) and came back on 20th Feb night, still in good condition now, except for a tick tick sound when at idling... I am going to MotorFactor to do the fan switch and fix up my electric horns, may change the EO and do other stuffs... Then I will ask the mechanic to check on that tick tick sound too...

I hope it is not the tensioner or something like this, like one of the guys posted here... if it is and I must change it, then must burn big hole in my pocket again... sighz...
