rather breezy traffic this mornz and i left at abt e same time yesterday though. for some reason thurs always hv heavier traffic. am still wondering why....

Yup, got to ride his bike the day I arrived, but I'm not used to it. I've been riding cruiser bikes for too long. 250cc, but seems to be straining at 80 km/h. Thankfully, it's a nice Saturday that day, so it was still good.

My gf's brother's gf say that my driving is somewhat more on the aggressive side than my gf's brother. My gf didn't feel any difference 'cos she's used to my style of driving. I hope that riding and driving in Singapore has not made me a worse driver than I was in Australia.

After riding here for so long I finally kena the first case of a vehicle switching lanes without signal and warning into my lane causing me to do an e-brake. This all happened as we were coming to a halt at the traffic lights.

 

Because squeezing in between cars is not practised here, I ended being behind the vehicle. It is the driver of the vehicle in the next lane, who saw what happened that started lecturing the driver for inconsiderate driving. Could here him shouting over the noise from my bike.

 

I like this. I dun have to say anything, other people say it for me. Heheh.

tat's nice but nobody cares abt nobody here esp if it's btw a bike and driver.

 

most of e time btw bikers, i notice, we support one another at least to make a sour face and point at e driver

Today,while on my way to Suntec City,I almost got squashed between a SBS bus and a Nissan 350z(if i'm not wrong)...I was pillioning my GF at that time riding in the middle lane.

 

The nissan was on my right..he was on a shared lane,suddenly when i'm beside him,he juz cut into my lane,causing me to swerve to my left.Chialat!,SBS bus on my left,i have to squeeze and pray hard that i dont knock onto that nissan or worst,the bus...

 

I pressed my horn and that blarrdy nissan juz speed away..but lights turn red next stop,my GF gave a finger to him..I Luckily i was cool at that time,coz if its was a bad day for me,i might confront him maybe lecture him...

 

Car number plate SDY 211 ?...If u guys know the owner,please advice him,check blindspot nextime.It does'nt mean that i pay lesser roadtax for my vespa it means that my life is worth that much.Dont want to see few years down the road,he licence got revoked for carelless or reckless driving or worst,lost his life...

As riders, we should exercise more courtesy and safety when approaching pedestrian crossings.

 

Last nite, a scooter zoomed past me along Bedok North Road, cut left in front of me and into a left filter lane (which has a zebra crossing) joining the road leading to the PIE. It didn't even bother to slow down, let alone stop, and all this while a man was already starting to cross at the zebra crossing.

 

Those of you with young children, or have aged parents who use such crossings may feel even more flabbergasted... and such riders who have little regard for other road users' safety should eventually get what they deserve.

darn it saw TP just after e flyover heading towards Ngee Ann. closed throttle down to abt 80 and now praying that i didn't get speed trapped!

Quite funny and scary at the same time, man... understand how you felt when the visor hit the car behind you... wouldn't wanna lose $$ again since you've just been fined for, ironically, the tinted visor.. thank goodenss the driver took it well, haha... get rid of the visor.. it's a curse!!!

rainy mornz boo hoo....slow ride to work w accident on AYE & partially drenched.

Today the wind was blowing at between 50 to 60 kmh. Dustorms everywhere.

 

Found myself riding at an angle even though I am going straight on the roads when the wind was directly from the side.

 

Scary part is got to watch out for tumbleweeds rolling across the roads. Not funny to crash into one coz they are full of thorns and can puncture the tyres.

Is the tp juz travelling past or the tp stop there to catch?

tp bike was parked there but i think he just doing something a few steps away, no vehicles being stopped. when i passed him, he just turned ard and was walking towards his bike.

 

sometimes i like to play on e flyover sheesh but these few days i become more cautious

just came bk fr dubai and traffic's getting pretty bad esp during peak hours, was stuck in e jam a couple of times for abt an hr each.

 

they have up to 6 lanes on e highway, left hand drive and cars were speeding like nobody's biz during brisk traffic at speed up to 120 and more. during heavy traffic ppl change lanes all e time and it's a big tailgating biz on e road. to drive there u got to hv super brakes and as riders, u got to b twice as alert....hmm now sg doesn't look that bad aft all. seen quite a few bikes mostly honda old road bikes, pulsar, a few big cows but older models and a couple of harleys. flashy cars hmm not a rare sight esp outside 5 -star hotels.
