i think it's not allowed..

and anyways, it's very difficult to balance with ur pillion sitting like that..

in this case, everytime he slows down,he'll start swinging to the left

Reminds me of stories where they'd mention the gallant knight in shining armour bringing the princess home on a horse.

Okay...horses aren't yellow and they can't match up to 200cc of engine power...what the heck.

this evening while travelling home on SLE was almost run over by, yet another, a taxi...

was travelling ~90km/h on lane 2 & taxi was coming from my rear on lane 1 & there was a black car on lane 3 beside me. ~100m adhead we c a break down sign with a car stranded on lane 1. as we approach the break down car the taxi speed up!! as we get closer till ~25m to the break down car i was expecting the taxi to either

1) ram into the break down car

2) perform E-BREAK

3) slown down & cut into lane 2, behide me.

guess wat? the taxi continue to speed up till beside me & cut into my lane forcing me to sway left almost hit the black car :help: both me & the black car press on our horn but the taxi driver didn't even glance at our direaction & just speed off... :giddy:

come to think of it, if i didn't notice the taxi approaching from behide, i could have be dead :faint:

It is a good habit to always check your mirrors every other second while riding.

My eyes do not stay focus to the front all the time but rather switch every other second from front to left mirror and then right mirror and back to the front.

The only time I look in front and not in the mirrors is when I am on the track.

That is why up till today I do not understand why there are some idiots who ride around on public roads without mirrors on, the worst kind of idiot being those who ride with their mirrors FOLDED in!!!:faint: :nono:

Its just like jumping into bed with a whore whilst the condom you bought is left in the pocket of your pants laying on the cheap hotel floor.......... and discovering that you contracted AIDs from her a few months later. :giddy:

Totally agreed with wat you said. Just cant understand y they dun like to use their side mirrors. Without the aid of the side mirrors how could they know wats behind them. Had alot of encounters with these riders, just simply bo chap and changed lane. These riders are really road harzards to other motorists.

This evening at Cecil Street, this MPV almost squash me. I think the driver (female) was trying to to a very quick filter without checking her mirror and blind spot. I managed to horn very loud but she was still adamant about stopping at the bus lane.

Stupid lady  Why must be so impatient to stop at the bus lane outside a particular building? Even if go down a bit further also can. The rain has stopped too.

hearing, seeing & personnally encountering these inccidents set me wondering how effective is our driving sch in producing safe/capable drivers...

Is it just me or are SG drivers simply too stubborn when it comes to proper signalling and not tailgating other vehicles?

Give poor-habit people a 1 ton cager with state-of-the-art ABS, airbags, v4 or v6 engine and they can drive their cars as if they or their grandfather owned the road that they're on.

I think the driving schools teaches you how to handle the vehicle, not the courtesy and etiquette of it.

My turn. Have anyone seen a lady texting on her phone in a convertible with the top down? I did! I saw it this morning :slapforehead:

Don't worry, this was inside Coronation Road, where those expensive cars are.
