at my werkplace we play with air horn..am thinking how to fix n my bike..

hm....

Electric horn is already very loud.

If it's air horn, not only will u shock the driver, it may be very hard to use on other road users... eg sometimes need to toot a pedestrian. may get heart attack if u use an air horn... :cheeky:

eh.. juz a noob qn.. i tink can install 2 horns rite? can anot ar? =X

Some electric horns come in a pair. They emit different frequencies, and when installed as a pair, they give a very nice tone. If single, then sounds a bit strange.

Anyway, this was my experience. So I have a pair on my bike. Loud enough to warn drivers in cars, but not so loud as to give pedestrians a heartattack.

while on my way home ~6.30pm on PIE going east near bedok met an inccident that almost throw me off my bike...!

i was lane spliting lane 1 & 2 when the traffic was slow ~50km/h. then coming to bedok i was block by a P-plate NSR 150 mid size rider with big size pillion. he was between lane 1 & 2 very unstable & the cars was trying very hard to overtake him without knocking him down :giddy: & while i was overtaking him on lane 2 he sway towards my direaction that i had to blast my stable horn at him :faint:

wat on earth is this p-plate trying to do? where did he pick up this type of riding skill from?? how the f*ck did he pass his 2b test???

Just rode home from work in the first desert dust storm.

Winds averagin 60 kmh and gusting to 70 kmh, all kinds of things flying about and dust, thick brownish red desert dust.

Choking, vision blurring, eyelid sticking, nose blocking, hair sticking desert dust.

Come home, inside nose also got desert dust, wash hair... water turns brownish red.

Bike also look brownish red instead of black. I think I will have to wash the air filter soon.

gosh tat's dangerous man!

driving ctr never teach anyone to lane split and they do not encourage it at all. having said tat, i rather they teach ppl more practical things cos driving ctr and otr situations r completely different.

then again, i lane split as well but i am not fast enuf so i dun go btw lane 1 & 2 cos the faster riders will want to jack u fr behind.

not advisable to but in this crazy traffic of sg, drivers ain't tat kind
