hey chris, ur DRZ is 2nd hand? black?

what's the fuel consumption like for DRZSM?

ur gf not riding the CBR150R?

Yeah, 2nd hand. Dunno the FC yet but I'm told by the previous owner it does about 200 before hitting reserve. All depends on riding style though I assume.

As for the CBR I want to let her get her own bike, not a hand-me-down. Possibly get a newer CBR150 or a Raider 150 for her or something else.

pipi> next time take a sedative before your TP. WIll calm you down and you'll probably do better.. haha.. *JOKE ONLY*

My GF was sick during her TP. Bad flu, running nose and really lethargic. Because of that she didn't care and just rode without care and passed first time.

Being nervous really doesn't help.

200km consumes how many litres of petrol?

it's very nice!! i was considering getting 1 after i get my 2A but seems like it's too expensive foe me.

if it drinks petrol like nothing den it's a big consideration for me as well.

raider is a 2 stroker?

Errr... dunno the tank size yet. :p

will let you know more soon. :)

:cheeky:

In standard form it won't drink that much.

If you mod it with a flatslide carb and less restrictive exhaust, E model cams, CDI etc it will go a heap faster but drink lots more. I will be keeping mine standard except for during the races when I will bolt on a flatslide and race pipe.

:cheer:

Raider is 4-stroke 150cc DOHC 6 speed.

The engine is similar to the CBR150 but air/oil cooled instead of water cooled.

It's weighs only 95kgs dry (20kgs less than the CBR150) and it has an oversized front disk brake and a SWEET digital speedo unit with an analog tacho (rev-meter).

:thumb:

Anyway, the choice will be up to her, not me. But I will try to "steer" her in the right direction. Being a chick i'm pretty sure the choice will come down to looks in the end.

wah not bad. pipi made this thread active.

anyway, my personal experience for plank. go up the plank at a fairly fast speed, the monment front wheel up the plank, clutch in let her row on the plank n control ur speed using only rear brake.

confirm swee one. no worries

No more regrets.

X1 looks nice but very average performance when compared to a raider.

The raider can be raced at the cub-races as is. :thumb:

let me know the fuel consumption ok? wonder how much a 2nd hand DRZSM will cost now. i saw on the net aftermarket tank for DRZ that can store 22 litres. haha can go for Darkar races with a big tank man!

so SM model is more fuel economical than E model?

raider is by suzuki right?> it's a cub ah? cub = small tank! i'm sure the meters will look great.

on the contrary, my sister dun like the CBR150R design and looks. she thinks the NSR150SP looks much nicer. well, to each it's own.

agree, i usually clutch in all the way once i go up the plank then try to balance, once there's feeling of instability then rev and half clutch a bit to balance up den can clear the timing very easily.

looks wise i think x1 win raider hands down but looks can be very personal. i find the sonic and raider too naked for my liking.

performance wise guess x1 will lose to raider by a lot.

but indeed the price for x1 is very attractive.
