ya manz...i just love the 600RR.

#1- it allow maddness opening of throttle everywhere !(cos no power...so pull & pull...so slow)

#2- it allow easy set-in for entry speed on track turning !(cos no speed...so got more time to set it right)

#3- it allow nice view of the road side ! ( cos the Gixxer,Rz,Zx all pulling infornt)

#4- it allow constant safety view on the road ! (cos it damn hard to pop a wheelie & HOLD it there)

beside that....it damn fun to ride a 600RR.:faint:

but of course....there are better choice out there beside a RR lor

#1- 06R6 - nice style !(but look at dyno....torque is FLAT & need to pull even more just to make it move)

#2- K6 - trackie 1st choice ! ( but then...the engine tickle sounds & low engine hour b4 rebuild...)

#3- Zx636 - Best 600cc grp ! (but just enjoy the bike...dun think abt resale...somehow kawa in local resale abit low lor)

so?...after so many thoughts.....i still prefer a slow Honda with underseat exhaust.:thumb:

i've been riding 2b for 2 yrs... maybe thats the prob... but then again, like wat uncle hockie said... its a good bike cos theres not much power. guess thats wat makes it so flickable and able to corner wit alot of throttle on...

well said uncle hockie.... :thumb: hahaha....

any tips on fully ultilising the the blade in corners???

i'm very keen on cuttin corners wit the blade... heheh... :cheeky:

on a scale, i would say 6.5... cos my bike is stock... i'm not sure abt how it'll be on others... but i heard its quite good for the arata guy... haha... not too sure.. upz...

Wow 6.5 that is quite good for the amount of investment! Does the LED actually drain the battery?

Oh u mean Kelvin on the 954 ah. He is using a special pipe without a PC3 that is why there is some roughness, with the RT he can feel lots more improvement loh. If he is already on a PC3 the diff will be less noticeable.

it a Good 600cc Bike thats doing 100BHP !

it is slow amount the 600cc Grp but still 60++ BHP more then a SuperFour 400 Vtec.

so still have to repsect the Power worr.it aint a 250 or 400.

any tips on fully ultilising the the blade in corners???

STOP ! check your tire condition 1st.

#1- is it a street tire or track tire ? eg-D208/BT014-street

#2- pressure for the tire ? track use 30psi F/R,street use 36/41psi F/R.

#3- how old is the tire ? check on the sidewall of the tire.it will read "3605" aka wk 36 of 2005 = Sept 2005 product.

#4- make sure 3mm depth balance on the tire

Honestly.....Road is not the ideal place to kup extreme corner on a sportbike.let that to proper place like PG/Sepang.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Actually the guy on the 954 had his PC3 removed and the machine is taking the RT as n replacement. He will see more improvement since his bike is not using stock end can.

Hope it dun encourage any current drain on the LED

I m not too confortable leaving the LED on even on the HISS. There is a fixed voltage drop of 0.7v from the HISS LED and possibly there is a NE555 timer chip within to make it blinks...there goes another 14vdc drain for the chip!

Plus the multi colour LED from the RT...that will be 3v...dun leave your bike alone for too long bro.

i dun mean to sound rude but voltage is not the major factor.CURRENT (amp) is the one that crank start the engine.no?

thats why Good battery will state the Cold Start AMP.the real juice that will kickstart any engine.

Voltage serve more like a "gauge" on motoring term.

correct me if wrong.:cheeky:

Hahaha, Mr Hockie there is no rudeness lah...it all abt sharing info :thumb:

Yup, actually both volatge and current plays a vital part and they only sparks when they work hand in hand, derive from the formula P=VI.

Current(ampre) will flow thur the wires when u click the start button. When the current reaches the starter motor, it will energized the inductors coils in the starter motor and the magnet within will repel and the bike will start.

Voltage(volts) is a reservoir of Current(ampre) stored in a battery in the state of charges. The speed of flow(discharge) of the current depends on the voltage level. The higher the voltage, the faster the discharge will be and the inductors coils will be charge up faster and easier.

Some flash back memory of the theory from the text book, hope the info is still accurate. Can u imagine, to pass exam u got to memorized all those bullshit above

hahaha... :cheeky: :cheeky:

it more complex then that...but just let it that way la.

alot of other control will come into play b4 the crank start spinning.reg,ingn/fuel pump/water pump/Fi-choke etc.

if ur battery condition is good...can last abt 2 week rest.

i tried mine... 2week no ride...after which still can start & go track.:cheeky:

response faster?? RT consider de cheapest solution liao.

other item like - change spocket size/520 kit convert/PC3+quick shift etc...would start from S$300 to S$1k.

yah of coz big diff, but other than the extra weight which is really onli felt when using leg power, every other diff was for the better, even posture. the RR felt hugely easier to ride for me actually, i felt far safer and more fun on the RR right from the word go.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

if ur bike's suspensions still stock settings, u shd try fiddling with it a little, if u noe how to. i find stock settings the bike has a noticeable inherent under-steer problem. a few heart-in-mouth moments for me when i first rode. after stiffening a little, i find the bike holds its line much better in corners, and i have a lot less under-steer moments. took me some time to find a setting i liked, but definitely worth it.

i tried hardenin it... it handles like wat u said:thumb: but i nearly flew off the bike when i hit a small hump at abt 80km/h..:giddy: maybe its my weight prob... i'm under 60kg:cheeky: but after a few adjustments, it got better... jus a lil bumpy but can handle...

speaking of adjusting suspenion.it like a form of art aka black magic.

no two rider will work on 1 setting.

but in general....by using the proven method of SAG.the bike setup is 90% close to what ur weigh/bike will perform.
