Hi guys, I'm looking at the zzr1400 as one of the option for my bike change. Just wanna find out some info. Is the zzr1400 just like any class 2 jap bike that can be repaired, serviced and maintained in most singapore bike shops? where do you guys get your kawa parts? Previously on a hayabusa and most parts are easily available. never tried a kawasaki, so not too sure about the service and maintenance part.

Thanks for any valuable inputs! :thumb:

In general normal servicing like oil change yes. If you are talking about bigger jobs like valve clearance, overhaul, modification please go to your favorite mechanic you can trust.

Official channel will be eversh*t.... Otherwise up north Malaysia or Thailand. I personally got it online. Of course I will order expendable parts way in advance.

If you are talking about big parts almost all shops don't keep spare. Just like the hayabusa. But general parts will be easily available no problems. Forget about getting parts from evershi* you ask for a screw they ask you to buy the whole fairing.

Who you order from? If from Looi's no problem, once you placed a deposit shipment comes in its more or less confirm. Just a matter of time cos they usually take the bike from eversh*t.

Hi.. I get my parts from Motormatic @ skudai.. Usually make a call n parts are ready within 3 days for collection. Faster than some major parts ordered here for any other jap bikes. 3 years now. So far so good. Routine maintenance parts are available here.. Such as oil, air filter n plugs. Parts that I order there are usually seals ( engine, oil, fork, wheel), oem sprockets and any other Oem parts. Accessories are mostly from eBay USA. Coming back to your question, the ZZR14/ZX14 is not like any other jap bikes or any euro bikes per say.. Its a class on its own..It's a rocket on wheels!!! Hehehe!!!

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.
