Looking for bike collector to take over a rare piece 1994 Yamaha GTS1000 and this is the best condition GTS you could find in Singapore.

 

The GTS1000 has advanced technologies not normally found on motorcycles at the time, such as electronic fuel injection, ABS brakes, 20 valves worked by twin overhead and a catalytic converter.

 

The engine was taken from the Yamaha FZR1000 of the time, and incorporated Yamaha's Genesis engine technology, though it was limited by design to 100 BHP.

 

In 2006, ‘Bike’ magazine declared the 1994 Yamaha GTS1000 the coolest of rare motorcycles. "Scarce, stylish, yet capable and completely usable: that's cool in our book."

 

What is unique about this bike is that this is a single front swingarm front suspension with 6 pot calipers and the people loves the look that doesn't aged through times till now

The accessories and the modification on this bike is the only 1 in the world and I am reluctant to sell this rare piece which I have owned for the past 20 years. The bike has not been on the road except for yearly inspection and some runs since 7 years ago.

 

I have purchased items from sources like internet for this bike rebuilding project and can advise the new owner to look for other missing item.

I remembered that some say it would replace the double fork suspension because it did not dive in corners, like the rear bike suspension, from twin to single. Cudos to yamaha to be that daring to build this bike. But fast forward 20 years, the fork suspension still is the standard.

This has become a collector's-bike and yours is very well maintained! Bike was well ahead of it's time when it was first manufactured.
