Hi all

Are all the mechanics at K&T good and trustworthy, or just Clifford? Going to bring it there next service. Do you guys specifically ask for Clifford to service your bikes? I going on weekday lah, so just tell me honestly ok, won't take your queue number! heh heh!

All the mech at KnT are knowledgeble and trustworthy. I trust them with my bike anytime. Clifforrd and KnT has a good reputation to uphold. Try to go there in the morning and maybe ... just maybe there wont be too many bike to service yet. good luck bro.

I was told it cost $50 including installation. Is it true?

Anyone here knows how K&T wash and dry K&N Air Filter? Do they let it dry naturally or use the compressed air method? Cuz if they gonna use compressed air method then I will just stay at home and DIY....

Ermmm frend... U might wanna check out the retail price of a brand new RAIZIN Voltage Stablizer package which comes with the unit itself, grounding wires and grounding plate without installation from the authorzsed retailers first. I've personally installed 2 sets before and its definitely more than 50 bucks and if I can remember correctly, the price is about 160 to 180.

HKL is selling for $90 inclusive of installation.

AMK Hub is selling at $50+ cash & carry.

I wouldn't be surprise that if K&T is selling at $50 inclusive of installation.

Although I have been to K&T previously to fix my leaking front fork, it was only two days ago that I have become a convert. My bike doesn't feel like a Super 4 since the day I bought it more than a year ago and recently it got worse after servicing & tuning done by another popular shop. So I decided to give Clifford's shop a try and indeed he did an extremely excellent shop...Sorry if I'm gushing but he really takes pride in his job and his assistant was meticulous too...They gave advices on what needs to be changed and indeed after changing it, my fuel consumption problems and power problems all solved now...After so long of changing this and that, nothing works till 2 days ago. Now my carburetors are synchronized nicely and tuned properly. Kudos to K&T.

 

It's nothing new I know but it's for new fellows looking for a reliable shop to fix their darling bikes to know that Clifford and his assistant do not rush thru jobs and take time to fix everything...It's worth the wait really. :thumb:

yeahh .. i do recommended K&T. clifford is a nice guy and highly knowledge person where he can share wth u stuffs which is good or bad to place on yr bike.it was recommended by my frens in mid 90s at that time his shop was at bedok north shell station. if his service was bad, i won't be back looking for him

KnT is the best shop.... i trust clifford doing my RVF.... i always tell him to take his sweet time!!! Now my RVF very good ah!!!!! clear meter without problems!!! tuning all by him.... his pricing only up by few dollars only.... even if u say its expensive what so ever!!! but always think that ur bike is being serviced by a trusted mechanic the boss itself Clifford!!! to me i dont mind paying more also ah!!! its very worth!! Miss going to KnT... not been there for 1 month plus due to accident!!! miss KnT!!! Anyway i will be back soon to service my bike after its done!!! Think again guys.... KnT Clifford is the best and a person to trust to service ur Bike!!!!

i still remember how i got to know KnT and Cliffords!!! I bought a FR RVF from some other shop... they promise me to service the bike and hand over the keys to me!!! but when i took the bike out for a ride.... it need not feel like a RVF... was like a weak type!!! Told a friend of mine who rides RVF and also checked the RVF forum pages!!! both adviced me to go to KnT and find the boss Mr Clifford himself!!! I went down to check it out!! i told him the problems i was facing with the bike!! all the blah blah blah things!!! Clifford Service my bike and after that he took it for a test!!! and ask me to ride it!!! I was really happy ah!!! His jobs are damn power ah!!! Really got good skills on RVF!! Solve my RVF problems and tune it to the best!!! Clear meter easily and pick up of the machine reall can feel it!!! Clifford told me that this shows that the bike which i bought it a very good bike but service by the wrong hands!!! Ever since i got my RVF, i only ask Clifford to do my bike!!! Even minor stuff also i do at KnT!! I even dared to Intro my friend to service his bike there!!! he was also happy with the service of KnT... Rating for KnT 10/10...

so many good comment abt k&t.. I must add some of my too...

Am riding a Spec2, just brought over from a shop, read up super4 forum got to know K&T which is near my home. didnt really gave much thought as i felt my S4 was good enuff already.. Rode for 2 months, FC was like 1 tank onli able to last 230km, while others in the forum were boosting of 280-350km. When to K&T, Clifford and Chin solved all these problem all at a go. Wash and tune carbrattor, change 4 'floating needles', knn air filter. Now my FC is at 280-300 for 1 fuel tank and bike is more responsives too. I NEVER PATRON OTHERS MOTORSHOP SINCE THEN
