Shouldn't take very long.U switch on then pull on ur throttle lor.

As for my Plug cable,it was more of a gamble. Not sure wat was wrong. My mechanic said it might be due to the piston ring cos my bike was not started for some time by previous owner(think 1year+).I changed the cable and so far no problems. If the problem of difficulty to start comes again, then have no choice but to open up block and see the piston.

Anyways, the cable cost me $40 from Ah Boy.U can try NGK(Red color).Cheaper a bit.Get the L-shaped but Ah Boy has ran out.

Can any1 tell me what causes engine leaking?

Oil leak or air leak?

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

there's actly some reasons to it.

1) the engine oil screw @ d bottom is worn out.

2) ur main engine gaskets are worn out.

3) ur block gaskets broken.

all these are actly juz normal wear and tear. can go to bike shop and get them to trace the leaks.they can usually repair on the spot or if changing gasket is not god enuf, can apply sealant to help prevent leak.

most boxes look ugly on bikes :)

I've an rxk box with rack to give away, just buy me coffee can already.

Its very old but good enough to store things.

It needs a new paint job.

any1 here know the stock rim size?

and also the smallest(thinnest)/biggest(widest) rim size that can be fitted to the bike?:cheeky:

thnx

hi bro. there's alot of combination to choose from. i tink usually stock will come 1.60x18 (front & rear). my dream is to use 1.60x17 (front) and 1.85x18 (rear) as there isn't any room to bring down my fork. u can also use "sotong/rempit" tires if u tink that it will look good on yr ride. keep in mind that once u use 17inch rims for both front & rear, yr rolling distance will be shorter. if yr tires r too wide, it will be abit heavy on yr handling. so, tink it thru coz u will be riding the bike. cheers.

bro unlike rxz, if u r using rxs or rxk, u cant lower the front fork. so to say to make yr riding posture more aerodynamics!!! in malay, "potong angin". heheheheh....

i'm using michelin sporty 2.75-18 front and 90/90-18 rear. 2.75 is the same as 80/90, 3.0 same as 90/90 and so on.... all i know that when the size says e.g. 80/90-18, the 80 means the WIDTH, 90 means the HEIGHT and the 18 means the SIZE OF THE RIM. someone correct me if i'm wrong... so if u r using for e.g. 80/80 and 90/80, yrs tires are considered low profiles.

my apek mech recommend me to use 17inch front and remain 18inch rear. but he also warn me to brake cautiously after changing the rims. since the front is lower than the rear, you might "endo" on hard front braking.

IMHO, not necessary wider tyres means can corner better. If rims' width is narrow, no matter how wide or big the tyres are, they will tend to curve upwards which makes the bigger tyres "useless". Stick back to original size is ideal for cornering and your pocket too. :D

bro, agreed with yr statement. wide tires on a narrow rim will make the tires more rounder. when u corner, hard to control. must advice our fellow riders to use proper tire and rim size.
