Hello,i've been riding Rxk for a year plus now..Bike currently at carpark.i want to know if there's any good mechanic that will do my rxk without burning a hole in my pocket...i want to overhaul my bike..i'm serving ns now..so on a budget la.

overhaul? as in change piston & cam rod all???

 

the last time i did at joon seng years ago set me back for $300plus but ori stuff... not sure abt now but i'm sure $500 is more than enuff to put ur bike back on the road again... minus cosmetics maybe!

My first bike uh bro and miss riding her,we been through everything.she's been there for me all this while.so overhaul is the best choice.

Joon Seng the best so far for most of us here living in the west. Few years back, i overhaul cost less than $300, my piston jammed.

U can get from Ah Boy. Saw they sell the small side panniers. They have it in black and white.

U can try visit 'A' Team at Peninsula there, they sell bags but not leather ah but like those gas mask bags.

I lost the stock brackets.

Currently my k has no rear signal lights due to this.

when im done repairing my baby,i will meet some of you la,i live in woodland.

btw last year i saw a female chinese lady riding rxk la,black colour. power lah,

correct me if im wrong.. the piston is a part of the engine. My piston actualy jammed becoz of years of wear and tear. My conrod bearing gave way and therefore the whole piston jammed. I sent to JS, and he rebore my blok a bit, changed my piston and piston ring and new conrod... full set. i think cost somewhere near to $300/-. Now so far so good. it been i think 2 years, very good. Can whack to 140km/h but i nvr whack all the time lah.

Joon Seng really nice mechs. If the part dun need to be change, they wont anyhow change just to earn. SO far im very satisfy with JS. Kind uncle and they wont ketuk u. If they know u long enuff, they'll even do things for u for FREE. U need to know anything just strike a frenly conversation with them. If u r a smoker, u can offer them cigarettes. At the right time lah of course. Dunlah go and offer when the uncle draining ur petrol or sumthing. LOL

 

And if u look around their workshop, its like a junkyard. But if u just walk in and see² look², u might see some interesting things. If u want them, just ask and they might give it to you for FREE.

 

Latest stuff I saw the last time I was there. 3 RXK seats. But according to our of our kakis, Acap. The mech say the base rusted already but I thikn still can salvage. And a complete set of RX-100 speedometer. I think that one Lord Bear took liao. LOL

 

and for the RXK chick, I think its Desiree. She was one of us, the kakis. But idk leh.. long time no hear from her. So far i nvr see any gal ride RXK. Cool huh to have a RXK chick.. LOL

hmmm u guys know where i can get metal chrome headlight e normal size?bsides ahboy ,mine is plastic..so fake.

united sell me those plastic kind,i dont like.scrapyard one i look all teruk..but i saw one honda tiger headlight there but the worker wouldnt want to unscrew for me.. lazy bugger.

so far guys i have never went out with any of the rxk kakis.

only with my group only 3 of us riding rxk. 2 black (including me and 1 red.) another addition will be one more( on the way) .
