I pick fazer coz

It has the speed (R1 engine)

It's good for touring (look good wif box)

Riding posture is good as my beloved S4

Smaller size of 1k cc for small size ppl like me

wat can i expect more frm it?

i love everything except FC n insurance -.-"

Speed - dare or not? :cheeky:

Touring - Much better..looks good with box too..

Riding posture - Too good to be true..

Small size - look at chao...

FC 15-20km/l....

insurance not that much from fz1...

so conclusion.....BUSA is the best :p

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

"You live more in five minutes on a bike like this than some people live in a lifetime."

Burt Munro, The World's FASTEST INDIAN 1967

Though it's difficult for many to initially accept, upshifting without a clutch is in many ways simpler than the conventional pull-the-clutch-in-while-rolling-off-the-gas, shift-up,let-the-clutch-out-smoothly-while-rolling-back-on-the-gas method most of us grew up using. Instead, simply preload the shifter lightly, then quickly let off the throttle slightly and then back on and-presto-you're in the next gear. Done correctly, a clutchless upshift sounds and feels like that of an electric shifter, and no, it's not abusive to the transmission; countless years of the SR staff racing their personal bikes stand witness to this. The key qualifier here is the phrase "done correctly." Fortunately this is as easy to feel as it is to learn.

i just had my fair share of trying today.....went to kranji camp for medical review......took tpe-sle-bke-kje so a lot of road to try.1st attempt wow sucessful.....2nd 3rd try all ok........got a bit of hipcups on my 4th n 5th attempt......but after that i sort of conclude the hipcups occurs because i didnt get the gear in-meaning i did not apply enough pressure on gear shift.

After correcting my pressure on my gear shift, the clutchless shifting is so smooth....even smoother than using the clutch to change gear...after that on expressway from gear 6 drop to gear 4 then clutchless to gear 6......down n up gear all the way back......its fun and smooth.........if play pick up using this method i believe will be v fast.......

First, understand that while accelerating, even mildly, you're able to lightly lift (preload) the shift lever with your toe without causing the transmission to shift or pop out of gear. By lightly, we mean perhaps two to four pounds of upward pressure for a moment before your desired shift point. Then, as the tach sweeps past the desired rpm, simply crack the throttle slightly off, then instantly back on, as quick as a blink of an eye. Don't fully shut the throttle; only close it enough to momentarily reverse the acceleration load on the transmission before returning the twist grip to its original position. Remember to release the pressure on the shift lever after the shift to allow the mechanism to ratchet back and index the next gear.

To summarise, just prepare ur feet underneath the gear shift, apply upward force(a bit) on the lever,u wont be able to shift/move any gear with ur throttle on......after that when u want to change gear, close the throttle slightly and kick up then open back the throttle.if done corectly, the gear will just drop in.it feel so smooth that i feel like doing clutchless shifting for the rest of my biking life.

Sports bike riding posture is the worst for touring.

I remember the vivid feelings of back breaking and sore wrist pains after a road trip on my CBR last time. Ouch!

:giddy:

every try KSR for touring? haha... then you'll trully understand the mening of "pain in the ass"!

Like to thanks the organisers, & those who help in a way or another, for the trip. Had been quite some time since our last last october, the my 1st trip on my new ride. It was a pretty nice ride up. Hope can do another trip this year.

Paiseh for the hiccups on the way back resulting in delay else we could have join the rest at the dam.. alrdy sense something is not quite right alrdy but forgot abt it aft our lunch at A&W. maybe too sleepy to think.

Like to thank

SS for his tyre repair kit with the canister. else will have to tow back sgp liao. & of cos, together with Roy Ong, to have escort me back all the way to Machap then to GP. It was a slow & boring ride..

Zen for pillion regine to Machap.

Royston to help send regine home all the way back to her home. It was another long journey.

Chilli to escort my back to the east...

Also not forgetting those who have given sound advice, the patience to actually waited, & take care of regine when I'm not around.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

hey bro, dun mention it, just glad everyone is safe and sound. i was abit stressed riding behind you man, all the while keeping an eye on your rear tyre while riding, especially when you go over bumps!

The fact that it must be done correctly to not to spoil it will make me thing twice... :giddy:

By the time I master the shift, my gearbox need to be overhaul already :weep:
