imo, the best way for more power is to upgrade to a bigger cc bike (and license class, of course). Visible mods invite LTA problems and increases maintenance costs.

The Nouvo is a fine city bike as it is. Enjoy it until skills and class improves then take the next steps.

nicely put! seriously, i dont like all these ppl who mod and mod their bike.. i always tell my friends the same thing.. u want faster bike, get a hayabusa.. no need to abuse your kup like that..

but then again, i tink some ppl just feel shiok to show off their gpr, scorpion, or any other aftermarket pipes.. so they can brag to their friends that they mod this and mod that... and their bike can go more than 160km/hr, blah blah blah...

these type of ppl are more prone to getting into accidents and thus giving riders a bad reputation..

me, the only thing that i can brag to my friends abt is my led lights.. haha.. sets me apart from other nuovos..

more importantly, it's to put a face and voice to all the communications that we have in the past months :) It's like pen-pal meeting after a long-time...

if any bros (or sisters, maybe) are interested, I'll bring my K&N filter service kit if you are keen to get your hands dirty (gloves provided) to service the filter element at the crank-case :)

Yishun dam i propose. Any seconder? How about inviting non-nouvo also, eg ex 2009 Muar SBF durian trip riders or we could ask other forumer who are having a meetup on that day. The more the merrier. For sure it will take away any letargic feeling on that day. :thumb:

it's probably too short notice for the non-Nouvos who don't follow this thread, but I supposed they are always welcomed to join. But we also don't want to become so big that it becomes an illegal gathering :p

it's not about the quantity but the quality of interaction that counts :)

place-wise, I'm fine so long as it's in SG!

Dear fellow Nouvoeans,

May i have a minute of your time please. It's have been a pleasure to me, that there is a small community of Nouvoeans here in this forum. However, i would greatly appreciate that if you could spare you indespensable time this coming Saturday (18/07/2009) @ 10.30pm venue Yishun Dam facing the sea side. Personally, i think it's time for us to get to know each other through face and voices. However, if there are other forumers who are eager to know much about this bike or for any reason, you are coordinally invited.

That's why the SGP Nouvo Community need to meet up and organise ourselves here. Once if we could have an organising community, it will be easier. :sian:
