    While the nation celebrate NDP 2009, motorists are advised to avoid the affected roads and to slow down should they need to travel along these roads or pass by the affected junctions. Officers will be stationed at all affected junctions to regulate traffic and assist motorists as well as to facilitate the movement of pedestrians.
     
    Note that parking at peripheral roads around the esplanade, Marina Bay vicinity; along the ECP (Benjamin Sheares bridge) and Marina South to watch the fireworks display is strictly prohibited.Illegally parked vehicles will be fined and towed away.
