no lah, they have not officially tell me my charge yet, but the drink driving charge was stated on the bail form. so i took reference from there lor. when i took the breathe test that day, the sergent also said my reading looks ok and ask me why they bring me back for breathe test.

very sorry to learn abt your predictament bro. Is the case still compoundable? IMO, you shud pay the fine first if it's within your means as a court fine will be much heftier ( that's what i know) If you do not wish to pay up 70 bux in wan shot, you can call up LTA and discuss the payment terms with them. They will be happy to entertain your request so long as you pay up. It's money they are interested in. good luck:thumb:

new year resolution?? simi wakozz? every year also cannot achieve. give up liao.

duh?? what was his breathe reading?? I mean normally if you pass the initial breathe test at the roadblock, they normally let you go wan. Unless the roadblock was set up especially for drink drivers, then a bit more stringent.

hahaha, if really give me a 10k claim, i declared myself bankrupt take off pants and run away. I dun think will be so much lah. the other party is a 200cc phantom. the only damage he suffered was a broken rear fender. further more, not much injuries. also eat a bit of bak kwa at most.

hahahaha. that's a good wan. definitely not? iknow that it takes a few shots to fail the breathe test, but it certainly does take more to male me dizzy. As for the following distance rule, i think will kena. more or less for careless driving. I had that charge abt 10 years ago on CTE

well, I went thru the statuees of chapter 276 liao. my chances actually quite good. Furthernore, some of my friend got this b4. The judge will actually look into the level of alcohol content before he or she makes a verdict on wheather the accused is innocent or guilty. this is wat i found: Evidence in proceedings for offences under sections 67 and 68 71A. —(1) In proceedings for an offence under section 67 or 68, evidence of the proportion of alcohol or of any drug or intoxicating substance in a specimen of breath or blood (as the case may be) provided by the accused shall be taken into account and, subject to subsection (2), it shall be assumed that the proportion of alcohol in the accused"s breath or blood at the time of the alleged offence was not less than in the specimen. [11/96] (2) Where the proceedings are for an offence under section 67 (1) (a) or 68 (1) (a) and it is alleged that, at the time of the offence, the accused was unfit to drive in that he was under the influence of drink, or for an offence under section 67 (1) (b) or 68 (1) (b), the assumption referred to in subsection (1) shall not be made if the accused proves — (a) that he consumed alcohol after he had ceased to drive, attempt to drive or be in charge of a motor vehicle on a road or any other public place and before he provided the specimen; and (b) that had he not done so the proportion of alcohol in his breath or blood — (i) would not have been such as to make him unfit to drive a motor vehicle in the case of proceedings for an offence under section 67 (1) (a) or 68 (1) (a); or (ii) would not have exceeded the prescribed limit in the case of proceedings for an offence under section 67 (1) (b) or 68 (1) (b). You guys can also have a look at the attached url to have a better understanding. enjoy: ) http://statutes.agc.gov.sg/non_version/cgi-bin/cgi_getdata.pl?actno=2004-REVED-276&doctitle=ROAD+TRAFFIC+ACT%0A&date=latest&method=part&segid=1104745819-002231

i think sure got charge wan. just depends how they proceed only. last time i langa other ppl car also kena careless driving. But anyways, it's still better than being charged under drink driving.
-
Yeah, that's true lah. But in any case, i just hope they dun take the alcohol content into account lor. I mean i also dunno there's still alcohol content in my body after so many hours of rest right? hmmm~~~

Yep, but come to think of it. I rather have a higher premium( not that high lah) than being having to bear the cost of compensation for the other party in cases where you are at fault. After, that's the main basis of having a vehicle insurance policy in force:thirsty:
-
I also dun know why the other party wans to report police, maybe he wan to make a insurance claim so that he can raise the claim? a lot of ppl like that wan lah, can claim then claim. i

It's actually like this, we were approaching a traffic light and the traffic light just turned amber in my favor, I felt that this rider in front have the intention to cross it, so i follow suit lor. We were travelling on the extreme left side of the left lane. road surface a bit moist(like those conditions when the rain stopped a few hours ago and still a bit wet that type.) Then suddenly this rider just slam his brakes, I also slam lor. but still cannot stop in time. That's how I slam his rear lor. For the alcohol content thingy, I dun think I'm drunk as I had been resting from 6 am in the morning til 4 pm in the noon. so to say lor.

Hi all, I need some kinda advice from ya all.( Advice nia hor, but feel free to flame me if you feel like it...) Last month I was caught for drink driving, ( dun bomb me first, pls look at my side of the tale. ) Scenario: I celebrated my birthday at home by drinking til dawn(6 am plus) then I went to sleep til late noon(4 pm plus). As I was feeling hungry, I decided to hop on my ride and head towards AMK for dinner. Along the trip, I met with an accident and bangs on to a motorcycle in front of me. ( The bike in front of me jammed brakes... you know the rest..)Both parties suffered from minor injuries. Then the police came and ask me if I had drink and I admitted that I had drunk til early morning b4 I rode again. They took me back to TP HQ for a breath test and I clock a reading of 0.06Umg. I would liketo ask if anyone here have been caught in this similar situation and what are my chances of getting off the hook? Thanks.

small bikes?? with full faces?? depends on the wearer's preference lor, if he wan safety, then that's the way to go lor, if he wants to pose,( eg. wear a full face with daryl beatty design) on a rx100, i'll laff off my head) then good luck to him lor, looks more like a clown on wheels lor. anyway, the cup is half empty or half full, just depends on how you look at it.
