  1. Found the problem. The back chain fell off.. oh wells.. anyway thanks for the reply!
  2. Wobbling can also count towards when you are stopping. They check whether before you stop your steering is stable. If they catch you turn ur steering more than once they will mark for wobbling! I had that happen to me... so if you know you tend to 'wobble' when stopping, make sure to keep still till just right before you stop and turn your handle 1 way and put your foot down.. at least thats what i did. Of course, sometimes all you need is some throttling
  3. Good day! I have been riding my cbf150(2nd hand) for abt 2 months now.. First, my bike actually had a breakdown roughly abt 3 weeks ago.. A part within the engine broke and resulted in the chain coming loose within. The mechanic told me maybe it was because I ride too fast which I told him that I never ride faater than 90 and i rarely cross the 80 mark.. at that time i clocked 1700 mileage.. ystd, my bike broke down again!(sigh) and i fear it is the same problem! This time i have not rode over 80 and clocked abt 900 mileage... Any advice? Could the fault be in the way i ride? Seriously considering to scrape or sell aft repairs... PS: i do pillon very often..
  4. Hahaha alright :/... seems so much enthuness frm the ppl in the course
  5. Anyone taking einstein's mod? Looking for a grp!
  6. Wow... what speed you gg at? I go at Rnd 80..... i don't knw if there is such a club?
  7. Haha i am always strict w punctuality.... bt leave hse early to avoid any carelessness...
  8. Really? For me earliest 35mins latest 45mins... so i usually leave house 1.5hrs before classes
  9. Haha i never do lane split... sometimes i feel like the cars behind me are cussing out loud.....
  10. Sadly i have clSses at 10... been through that traffic... its terrible.....
  11. Yea I do ask advice from a good friend who has rode for a few years... she is kinda lazy though thanks for your thoughts everybody
  12. Wow thanks for the advice! The boss at planet said that engine still young.. no major fault to replace at that pt of time... maybe i will go check up my tires since i just pumped them but the rear seems to be leaking... Probably will be sticking to planet for the future
  13. Thanks for the advice! Went to planet to service instead... had to change the entire brake reservoir....
  14. I just passed my tp arnd 1 mnth ago at cdc(second time) totaled about 1.4k spent on the course. Eager to get a bike and got a cbf150(loving it)! Can't say getting a sports bike right off the bat would be a good deal as even with only a road bike i paid 860 for insurance w ntuc(pricier choice and I am 21[22 year olds get a diff price]) sports bike will definitely set you back by more than 2000 a year! Plus certain sport bikes are 'blacklisted' by tp's, expect to get stopped more than often.. I'd advise you to get a bike with better fuel efficiency so as to get used to riding out on the streets and cheaper! Cheers
  15. Im riding a black CBF150. Year 1 FOS. Staying in tamp! Taking the same route as you too!!
  16. Yea I did go for the efr... Now I'm slowly getting used to being on the expressways... although only gg roughly 80... The threads still look good enough for the tires... Sadly learnt through a shop that there were some small problems... Right now pretty happy with the bike still and I still feel its quite the good deal.. So thanks for your advice still
  17. Ah... thanks for the advice.. actually tried the same route ystd(had to rush down for some forms)... instead of queensway i went to holland road...
  18. Oh.... ok....
  19. Hopefully not =] i'm a new rider! hope to be able to navigate to nus safely.. anyone from tampines can recommend a route that avoids the major expressways? (eg. CTE,PIE...) thanks Was thinking of riding from bartley to braddell
  20. Oh... my display is the old one where there are gear indication instead of the tachometer... so its based on pure feeling on the amount of revving..
  21. i see.. thanks for the tip =]
  22. Thanks PolarisX for the help! For 3) yea i think so as the fluid reservoir is broken and I can't see the fluid level inside. It is now like a flimsy plastic that is black >
