  1. Hi Guys, It's a long time since I posted, if anyone recalled.... Anyway, just want to ask if anyone is letting go their Vara125? or know of anyone who wants to let go their Vara125, please let me know. I'm keen to get one. Can email me at jimmy_yap_sg@yahoo.com.sg Cheers. Jimmy
  2. Hi Guys, Was going around various dealors and looking at the XL125. Got a couple of questions: 1. Do any of you guys buy Comprehensive insurance? Or 3rd+Fire+Theft is good enough? 2. Have checked NTUC Comprehensive is about $1200 for me (31 and new rider) but the excess is only $300. Worth it for a P-plate rider? or just take 3+F+T 3. For new bikes: Have gone to BS (and quoted 10.8K w/o ins), Mah Agency (11.2K w/o ins) & Mah (11.2k w/o ins). Only BS got 3 free servicing and 1yr warrantee, the other 2 dun have anything but some freebies. Feel more inclined to go with BS, with its package and also it is shipping the 06 model. The rest all old model (05), though BS tell me there is not much change. And also BS seems to just need 1K+ins for OTR, will the rest need upwards to 2K (which includes ins). From my calculation, BS seems to offer the lowest monthly repayment and interest (4.5%, the rest 5%). I will check out GHC too, any other shops to recommend? Any advise on this issue? Cheers Jimmy

  4. Hi All, I am looking at getting a new one. But if 2nd hand also can if the condition is good, very good and goody good. Anyway, i'm still learning. Trying for my Lesson 8 next month and hopefully can do the TP test at end of Feb.... Btw: Clicked on the link of the ad that Al-simmons attached. Was drooling at the babe's pic and not paying attention to the pic of the bike! And also need to ask about bike financing. Is it the same as cars. For cars, we have to pay initial downpayment plus insurance plus 1st installment for On-the-road. Interest is at about 3.7% now, and usual instalment period is 7-10 years. Most loans are with financial institutions and banks. So all this is the same as Bikes? And when i'm free, and around the area, I'll pop in at Mah and Wheels to look at the Vara. Thanks! Jimmy
  5. Hi guys, I'll be getting my 1st bike soon.... And is interested in the Vara 125. Could someone recommend me a good bike shop to buy from? Cheap and Good that is. Thanks Jimmy
